Chinese Tourists to Enjoy Visa-free Travel to Georgia

Chinese tourists will enjoy visa-free travel to Georgia. Head of National Tourism Administration Giorgi Chogovadze has met his Chinese counterpart in Beijing. The meeting was also attended by Georgia’s Special and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to China Davit Aptsiauri. According to the National Tourism Administration, the meeting touched on the issues of bilateral cooperation and development prospects. The parties have agreed to continue consultations concerning resumption of visa-free travel for Chinese tourists groups to Georgia. In turn, Head of Chinese National Administration of Tourism has offered full support in terms of activities for encouraging Georgia’s tourist potential in China.
