PROJECT DETAIL (B.E – Mechanical Engineering) 1. Mini Project : Design and Fabrication of Power Hacksaw Description: A power hacksaw of quick return mechanism developed to cut the work piece of mild steel in shorter time with more efficient equipment. 2. Main Project : Design and Fabrication of Automatic Four Wheeler Lifting System Description: An automatic four wheeler lifting system developed on the basis of spring tension taken from pivoted arm connected with hydraulic bottle jack. The power is taken from crankshaft of the engine & operated by ON/OFF control switch. PROJECT DETAIL (M.Tech – Industrial Safety and Hazards Management) 1. PHASE I : Semi-Quantitative HAZOP Analysis on LPG Handling Yard Description: Analysis done according to the recent process equipment modification (Heat exchanger to Heater less vaporizer) in the LPG yard by the use of sources like Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and specifications in the risk matrix assisted HAZOP work sheet. 2. PHASE II : Safe Environmental Decision Making on Copper Usage in India Through LCA Description: Life Cycle Assessment is an illustrious tool used for evaluating various categories of environmental impacts with copper usage in India at various processing stages like extraction, product fabrication, use and waste management (disposal and recycle).
