Wexford-Missaukee Early College Directions for Activating Baker College Student Account Upon conditional acceptance to Baker College, you will receive an email with your username and instructions on how to set up your password. Your password and security questions must be set up within 7 days of receipt of this email. 1. Account activation is accessible through the Baker College homepage by clicking on the Menu link in the top right corner of the page. 2. Under the Tools and Resources tab select My Baker. 3. Click on the purple box labeled Login Assistance. On the next page, click Activate my Account on the left side under the Login button. 4. Enter your username. Click Next when complete. 5. Enter your information in the three required fields. Click Next when complete. 6. If you receive an error message, contact the ITSC at 800-645-8350 to reset your account. 7. Create a password of your choice, and re-enter the password to confirm it is correct. The new password must: a. Be at least 8 characters in length. b. Contain characters from three out of the four areas below: i. Uppercase letters ii. Lowercase letters iii. Numbers iv. Special characters (ex:!, $, #, %) c. Not contain any part of the following: i. Name or username ii. Birthdate or social security number Click Next when complete. 8. Write your password in a safe place. 9. After creating a password, visit the Baker Account Registration page to set up your security questions. 10. Answer at least two of the questions listed. 11. Write the responses in a safe place. Responses are case sensitive. 12. You will need your security question responses to reset your account. 13. You are now able to login to your Blackboard account and begin BC 1010.
