New Start Time 8:25!
Parents, Kindergarten2017-2018 is coming!!! If you have children that will turn 5 before September 1st, please contact the school. We have our Kindergarten registration at the school on March 23rd at 6:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there! Thank you to everyone for understanding with our time changes. Remember that our new times are 8:25-2:55. We need to know if there are special considerations we need to make as we prepare our class lists for next school year. If you have any, please see Sandy in the office and fill out the form she has. Once we start class lists in April and May for next year it is much more difficult to make changes and harder to guarantee separation of conflicting students and other issues.

Our Spelling bee was a great success as well. Our spelling bee winners were: Ethan McArthur, Maggie Fisher, Adelaide Nelson congratulations to these wonderful students and great spellers. Don’t forget that you can still buy yearbooks for $15 in the office. They will be on sale until March 27th. Spring Break this year is on April 6-7. We return to school on the 10th. McTeacher’s night is coming up on March 14-15 from 5:00 until 8:00 each night. They donate a portion of their proceeds to the school and you can “donate” to the school and get a cookie. This year we are putting the money towards Leader in Me student and teacher recognitions. Please come support our school!
Attendance Matters!
We are keeping our attendance steady at around 95%. Please keep it up. We love to see all of the kids each day.

I work well in groups, I seek out other people's ideas because I know that by teaming with others, we can create better solutions than what my one of us could alone. I look for Third Alternatives.
Highly Effective Practices are to Value Differences and Seek 3rd Alternatives. Beat the Teach! Forms need to be turned in on Monday March 6th. Prizes will be distributed on March 7th. On Wednesday March 8th we will have a PAJAMA Day and Read a thon with hot chocolate. This is for ANY student that returns a Beat the Teach Form, so please return the forms to the office by Monday!!!
