If you are trying to docu-sign on your iPad you must first know what apps you can pull the document from that you need to have signed. In these 2 examples we will use Notarize, Box, and GoDocs along with Docusign. Please load all of the apps prior to beginning these steps. !1
Go to your iPad docu-sign app and sign in !2
Select New Envelope !3
These are the available locations that you can pull your document from...but now you must get your document into one of these locations.! Here are your choices...

Tap the Home button to exit docu sign and send the document to the desired location !5
Open your email app and select your document you wish to open !6
You have opened the PDF !7
Choose the open in icon at the top right and you will have choices of where to open the document. In this case we are opening the document in Notarize. !8
You have selected Notarize so it automatically opens in that app !9
You now need to share the desired pages into the app that docu sign will recognize. Select the pages you wish to send. !10

You now choose the location. In this case BOX !12
Upload to BOX. You may have to sign in. It is now in BOX. I do not file mine anywhere particular since I use this app as only a portal. !13
Tap the Home button !14
Go to your docusign app !15
Select New Envelope !16
You will see your choices again !17
Select BOX for this example and sign in !18
You will see all uploaded docs. Select the desired doc.

It now opens in docusign. Select next. !20
Type your desired subject and email !21
Add signers and tag! You can now send your envelope. !22
Now let's look at example #2. We are opening the PDF and this time we are opening in GoDocs (google docs iPad app) !23
When selected it will take you to the GoDocs app. !24
Select the file you wish to upload. Once selected, hit the home button. !25
Sign in to your docusign app as shown steps 1-4. This time select Google Docs. !26
