Less than 2% of MaxFun listeners donate. If you spread our donations out on a perdownload basis, it’d come to less than a penny per show. Once a year, I ask you to do something about it. Visit MaximumFun.org right now, and donate to support The Sound of Young America, Jordan, Jesse GO!, our blog, forums and all the other podcasts. The Maximum Fun Drive runs through the end of May (though you can donate at any time). A consortium of 27 donors has challenged you. For every new donor who signs up during the drive, they will donate $37.70. It is their challenge to those who don’t yet give. There’s a special t-shirt. The shirt, designed by Cody Mix, will only be available during the pledge drive. Pledge $5 or more per month, and it’s yours. There are prizes. Every monthly donor will receive a thank-you gift from among the 150+ that have been generously donated by authors, publicists, editors, publishers, artists and others. Indicate a few preferences, and we’ll hook you up. We’re giving away gifts until we haven’t got any left. There are many levels. My hope is to enable anyone who listens to donate, regardless of their financial situation. I’d love for you to give ten or twenty dollars a month, but if you haven’t got a good job, I feel your pain, I don’t either. You can give as little as two bucks a month. The important part is: give.
