AFFILIATE MARKETING This Is The Easiest And Most Immediate Way To Start Your Online Business! At the most basic level, affiliate marketing is a 'pay-for-performance' advertising model. Affiliate marketing is the ultimate “middle person's” business model. This is because you've none of the usual extra work and expense involved in being a seller. Don't get me wrong, you'll still be “selling” something, but you won't be tasked with creating the actual product, processing payments or dealing with customer service issues. In affiliate marketing, all you have to do is make the introduction. Connect the buyer to the seller. As soon as that relationship is “formalized” through an actual sale, you get paid. Nothing could be easier. As an affiliate, what you're really doing is advertising for the merchant you are affiliated with. What is the one thing every website owner needs more of? --> Traffic. You can have the best product in the world, but it won't sell unless you have real, live people visiting your website. Now, there are a number of ways to get traffic to a website. Most merchants use a combination of 'natural' traffic strategies (like getting a high ranking in the search engines) and paid advertising strategies. An affiliate marketer establishes a trusting relationship with potential buyers by providing them with quality information. The primary means of communicating this information is via    

Sharing various social media sites (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Yahoo etc) Phone Number E-mail. etc

METHODS INVOLVED IN AFFILIATE MARKETING BLOG:

A blog is a frequently updated online personal journal or diary. It is a place to express yourself to the world. A place to share your thoughts and your passions. Really, it’s anything you want it to be. For basic purposes we’ll say that a blog is your own website that you are going to update on an ongoing basis or a personal website or web page on which an individual records opinions, links to other sites, etc. on a regular basis Examples of Blog Sites are;  

Blogger, Word press etc

SITES WHICH YOU CAN ADVERTISE 1. Liteforex.com: register or sign in, scroll down to Affiliate, after creating, select banners for pix representation, 2. ALI EXPRESS: Sign in, scroll down to Affiliate Program, sign in or register again, goto ad centre and select choice of ads. 3. KONGA & JUMIA.com: Takes 2 days for them to verify and activate your account.

Thereby, I recommend and advice that you create your blog for the first time using a computer. After setting it up with a computer, you can be updating the blog with your mobile phones thereafter by installing “blogger” app either from Apps world or Google Play Store. If you do not have a personal computer, you can use a friend’s computer or a public computer available at libraries, cyber café, biz centers etc.

Title: This will be seen at the top of your blog and I advice that it should be relevant to what you plan to be posting on the blog. For example: if you want to be talking about tips on making money online, then you can give it a title like “Money Making Secrets”. Be creative. Address: Keep your address similar to your title (as above). http://www.freedomaingenerator.com/ can suggest addresses for you. If the address you entered is not available, you will be prompted to enter another one. Make sure the .com, .net, .org and other extensions of the address you chose is not already taken. You can confirm this by entering www.your-address.com into your browser and see if it will bring up any web page. Ensure uniqueness. If you prefer having a .com address instead of a .blogspot.com address for your new blog, do not worry. You can create and add the custom domain later. Template: here, choose any template you like. It doesn’t really matter which template you choose, you can always change it at a later date. Once you have chosen your template, then you can click on the “Create Blog” button.

STEP 4: After clicking on “Create Blog”, you should see a notification that your blog has been created successfully. Your Blog is now created! Click on “Start Posting” as seen in the picture below:

Take note of the “Preview”, “Publish” and “Save” button. The “publish” button publishes your post to the web. The “Preview” button enables you to preview what your blog post will look like once published. The “Save Now” button saves your composed post as draft. If you look at the right-hand side of the page, you should see the “Post Settings” as seen in the picture below:

7

Labels: This is where you set the category of your post. As an example, if your post is “Latest Job Vacancies”, you can enter “Job Vacancies” in the “labels” box and when you write another post maybe on “How to make money”, you can then enter “money making tips” inside the box. You can change the label of your post anytime you want.

Schedule: This is where you can set your post to be published on a future date and time. If you select “Set date and time” below, you can choose a date and time on a calendar for your post to be automatically published.

Once you've selected a new date and time, be sure to click “Done”, then Publish. Don't worry -- your post will only publish at the date and time that you've determined in the settings. Still under “Post Settings”, you can ignore the “Location” while you can enable and disable comments via “Options”. Once you are through writing your post, click on the “Publish” button. You just created your first blog post. This is the same way you will be creating posts whenever you want to add new posts to the blog. Under the "Posts” sub-heading, the main setting that will need altering is the "Show at most....on the home page". I set mine to 7 posts on the home page. Feel free to alter it the way you like. Mind you, the more posts that appear on your main/home page, the more it takes your blog to load. You can set the "showcase images with Lightbox" and "share to Google+" to YES. Under the "Comments" sub-heading, you can set the settings according to your choice. The picture below shows how to set this sub-heading:

You can set "Comment Location" as "embedded" so that the blogger comment form can appear right below each of your posts and it will allow users to reply from the post without taking them away to a new page. You can set "who can comment" to "anyone" so as to also give room for anonymous users to comment on my blog posts. You can set "comment moderation" to "always" because it is preferred to review comments before they are published. A link will appear on your dashboard when there are comments to review. If you enter your email address in the "Email moderation requests to" box, you will always receive an email whenever someone comments on your blog post.

14

How to create and monetize your own free blog - Susu

You can set the "show backlinks" to "show". Backlinks enable you to keep track of other pages on the web that link to your posts. Anything you enter in the "comment form message" appears directly above your comment form. You can use this to let your readers know that their comments will be appreciated. That's all for the "Post and comments" settings. At this stage, you can start adding more posts to your blog via the “New Post” button whenever you log in to www.blogger.com and enjoy blogging; but if you want to learn other things you can do on your blog, keep reading……… but if you want to learn other things you can do on your blog, keep reading………… but if you want to learn other things you can do on your blog, keep reading…………… but if you want to learn other things you can do on your blog, keep reading…………… but if you want to learn other things you can do on your blog, keep reading………………

You might see a warning asking you if you want to keep your widgets. Choose "Keep Widgets". Save and View your blog.

That's all. Now you have the same blog, with no change in content but a complete new look. If you check your blog and realize that some of your widgets are missing, you can add them back to your blog by going to Layout & gadget; add a Gadget. But remember, do not add too much of them. A cluttered and slow blog is a sure way to scare off visitors. If you really want a unique look on your blog, then customizing the template is the option for you – small changes can make a surprisingly big difference and you can easily customize your template via the Template Designer provided the Template you downloaded is compatible with Template Designer. Hence, when next you are trying to download a template, make sure the template is compatible with Template designer. You can easily confirm this on a "Test Blog". If you don't have a "Test Blog", create it and be using it to try customizations before applying them to your main blog.

WAYS TO MONETIZE YOUR BLOG Apart from Google Adsense, there are other ways you can monetize your blog. You can:  Promote other services you render on your blog e.g computer trainings, barbing salon, web design etc  Help others advertise their product via your blog posts and charge them for it.  Sell advert spaces on your blog (e.g linda ikeji’s blog etc)  Promote affiliate products.  Joint Partner Products/Seminars etc You can read more about blog monetization online. NOTE: You will only make money from your blog if people are visiting and reading your blog. The more people that visit your blog, the more money you stand to make from the blog. Hence, TRAFFIC is very important.

HOW TO GENERATE TRAFFIC TO YOUR BLOG If you really want people to be visiting your blog, you must be posting unique contents to your blog. You should not be copying and pasting from other people’s blog to your blog. If you do this, Google can ban you from Adsense and remove your blog from search engines. If you want to share an article already published elsewhere, you can re-write it in your own style and even indicate the source in your post. You can be getting traffic from search engines e.g. Google, Ask, Bing etc (organic traffic) or from links you share on Social networks/forums like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Stumbleupon, Digg etc. As for me, traffic from search engines is the best because when am offline and not sharing my links anywhere, people keep visiting my blog from the search engine and I keep making money when they click on my Google Ads or if they order for products/services I offer for cash on my blog. For you to be getting traffic from Search Engines, you must optimize your blog for search engines. This is known as Search Engine Optimization (SEO). You can search Google for the tutorials or eBooks on SEO. Try to download and read the Google SEO Guide at the end of this guide. You should also try and Google search for how to get traffic from social networking sites, social bookmarking sites, forums, article, directories etc.
