Elinor Bracelet SUPPLIES: • 15/0 seed beads (SB15) • 11/0 seed beads (SB11) • 8/0 seed beads - color 1 (SB8A) • 8/0 seed beads - color 2 (SB8B) • SuperDuo beads (SD) • 4mm druks (D) • Clasp • Jump rings (optional) • About 4 yards Nymo B or FireLine

1. Pick up SD + SB8A + SD + SB8A + SD + SB8A. Go back around through all of the beads to make a circle, leaving at least a 6-inch tail for attaching the clasp later. Tie a knot when you meet the tail. Go around the circle of beads once more to reinforce it. 2. Go through the inside hole of the next SD and go on through the next SB8A. Pick up SB11 and go through the outside hole of the next SD. Pick up SB11 and go through the next SB8A. Pick up SB11 and go through the outside hole of the next SD. Pick up SB11 and go through the next SB8A. Pick up SB11 and go through the outside hole of the next SD. Pick up SB11 and go through the next SB8A. 3. Weave back around this circle of beads once again to reinforce it. Exit through the SB8A that you started from in this step. NOTE: Remember to go through the outside holes of the SD's as you go around.

4. Go on through the next SB11 and the outside hole of the next SD. 5. Pick up SB8B + SB11 + three SB15 + SB11 + SD + SB11 + three SB15 + SB11 + SB8B. Go through the outside hole of the next SD. Go through the inner hole of the same SD. TIP: Keep your tension slightly relaxed as you add these "chains" of seed beads. Pulling them too tight will make them look messy.

7. Go through the other hole of the same SD. Weave back around this circle of beads to reinforce it. You will go through the SB8B, SB11, three SB15, SB11, SD, SB11, three SB15, SB11, SB8B, the outside hole of the SD and through the inner hole of the same SD, through the SB8A and the inner hole of the next SD. Exit through the outer hole of the same SD.

6. Go on through the SB8A and the inner hole of the next SD.

8. Go on through the SB11, SB8A and SB11 in the center. Pick up SB11 + three SB15. Go up and through the inner hole of the SD at the end of the work. Pull this "chain" of beads into the inside next to the outer "chain" of beads. 9. Pick up three SB15 + SB11. Go through the SB11 on the other side of the SB8A of the SD motif going with your needle toward the SB8A. Pull this "chain" of beads to the inside next to the other outer chain of beads on the other side.

10. Reinforce the inner chain by going around again through the SB8A, the two SB11 and the three SB15. Skip the SD then go down through the three SB15 and two SB11 on the other side. NOTE: Skipping the SD will bring the two sides of the inner chain together in a "V", which helps keep the chains looking neater.

11. Go on through the SB8A and the next SB11.

14. Pick up SB11 + SB15 + D + SB15 + SB11.

Go through the outer hole of the nearest SD. Go through the inner hole of the same SD.

Reinforce this circle of beads, remembering to go through the outer holes of the SD's. Exit through the SB8A where you started this step. It's the one between the chains of seed beads.

26. Go on through the next SB11. Pick up SB11 + three SB15. Go up and through the nearest hole of the SD near the D. Pull this chain of beads to the inside next to the outer chain.

Pick up two SB15 then go across the D and through the SB15 and SB11 on the other side. To reinforce the stitching, weave back around through the SD, the six seed beads, the next SD and the six seed beads on the other side. Exit through the inner hole of the SD. Go through the empty hole of the SD.

33. Pick up SB8A + SD + SB8A + SD + SB8A. Go around and through the same hole of the SD that you just exited. Go around again to reinforce, exiting the SD that you started from.

45. Repeat Steps 14-44 for the length of the bracelet, making sure that you end with either Step 28 or 44, but preferably Step 28. You can extend the length of the bracelet with extra jump rings if it's a little short.

ATTACHING THE CLASP 46. Pick up two SB11 + clasp + two SB11 (or see the optional method below). Go back around and through the same hole of the SD that you just exited. Weave around this loop again to reinforce it once. Go around again, skipping the clasp (or the SB8B, if using) this time. Pull the four SB11's into a "V" where they meet the clasp (or the SB8B, if using), exiting through the two SB11 going away from the clasp. (...continued on the next page)

OPTIONAL: Instead of attaching the clasp directly to the loop, you can add one SB8B between each pair of SB11's instead and attach the clasp with a jump ring going through the SB8B. Reinforce the clasp loop as directed in STEP 46 but skip the SB8B instead of the clasp.

47. Pick up one SB11 and go through the nearest hole of the SD. Pick up one SB11 and go through the two SB11 on the other side going toward the clasp. Reinforce the clasp loop again but go through the clasp (or SB8B, if using) as well as the two SB11's just added this time. Weave in the working thread. 48. To add the clasp to the other end of the bracelet, make sure that the tail thread is exiting from the outside hole of the SD on the end. Repeat STEPS 46 and 47. Weave in the tail thread. OPTIONAL: If you added SB8B's to the clasp loops, insert a jump ring through each one and attach your clasp to the jump rings.
