The ultimate instrument for Super-8 filmmakers, the Elmo 1012S-XL emerges as a superb, truly professional Super-8 Sound Camera accepting either 50 or 200 foot cartridges (3Y, minutes to 13YJ minutes at 18 fps) of sound or silent film. This light-weight compact unit is mu lti-featured to fit the needs of the most discerni ng filmmaker. An ultra fast Fl.2 7.5mm-75mm lens in optical perfection incorporates the now famous and very desirable FOCUSFREE™ system. A Telephoto Macro permits a lens to object distance of 15cm (5.9 in). A single lens reflex, with 220 degree shutter, the 10 12S-XL utilizes sp lit-image focusing , - 6 to +3 diopter eyepiece adjustment. F-stop, apertu re, over/under exposure, fi lm transport (Green LED ), record ing (Red LED) and end-of-fi lm indicator for absolute operational control. Sound filming of 18 and 24 fps.
Single button control a llows simultaneous and automatic fade-in /out
of both picture and sound. Picture/Sound fades in a manual mod e also possible. As an accessory the Elmo power pack can provide auxiliary power to run the camera for long cont inu ous filming runs. See reverse side for specifications.
