Progress Notes 2015-2016 school year: Students in second grade did not meet the ORF goal on the Dibels screener. The overall proficiency of students passing was 70.9% at the beginning of the year and 69.9% at the end of the school year. 2015-2016 school year: First grade students met the goal of CLS on the Dibels screener. Students grew from 63.4% to 80.2% proficient. 2015-2016 school year: First grade students did not meet the increase of WWR on the Dibels screener. 90.1% of students in the fall were at benchmark, as were 90.1% students in the spring. Of the 10 students not increasing, 5 are receiving SPED services and 1 is migrant and not at APS consistently. 2015-2016 school year: First grade did not meet the ORF benchmark from winter to spring on the Dibels screener. Students went from 79.6% to 72.8%. This is a group of 28 students. We will be looking at ways to increase their decoding skills. 2015-2016 school year: Kindergarten met the CLS goal on the Dibels screener. This is measured from winter to spring. Students grew from 77.6% to 85.7%. 15-16 school year: Kindergarten met the PSF goal on the Dibels screener. This is measured from winter to spring. Students grew from 87.9% to 90.0%. 15-16 school year: Kindergarten met the FSF goal on the Dibels screener. This test is measured only from fall to winter. Students grew from 59% proficient to 86.7%. Since the 2014-2015 plan had been archived, we were not able to enter our met/not met progress notes. Therefore, the notes listed below should be part of the 2014-2015 plan. 2nd grade did not meet the ORF goal of the Dibels screener. The data dashboard was not in place, so individual student testing results could not be calculated due to 2nd grade in separate buildings. 1st grade did not meet the ORF goal of the Dibels screener. This subtest is given only in the winter and spring. 28 out of 103 students did not meet the goal. 11 of these are SPED students. Additional fluency strategies will be researched to address this issue. 1st grade met the goal of CLS on the Dibels screener, but did not meet WWR goal. Out of 101 students, 10 did not meet the WWR goal. 5 of these students are SPED students and 1 is ELL who was absent for several months of the school year. 3 students were within 3 points of the benchmark.
