Scripps Networks Interactive turned to Hanson to design and develop the HGTV Folio App, an iPad application that let homeowners browse thousands of photos from their favorite shows for inspiration. Users could add notes, save favorites, and share with friends. Hotspots on the images called out paint colors and other products, making it easier to get the look at home while promoting their retail partners. Hanson used Amazon Web Services to build a powerful administrative interface and web service to drive the application.
Owens Corning retail sites & in-store kiosk Owens Corning is a leading manufacturer of insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composites whose products are offered in multiple retail stores including Lowe’s and Home Depot. To support trade and homeowner sales, Hanson designed and developed co-branded microsites. We also designed a digital kiosk for the Lowe’s roofing aisle to deliver in-store videos and other helpful content.
Digital platforms for Therma-Tru Doors As the entry door brand most preferred by building professionals, Therma-Tru needed new digital experiences that made it easier to identify, visualize, and select the perfect entryway for any home. Hanson conducted consumer research to gain insights and tested options to arrive at the best results.
DoorWays app Therma-Tru Doors also partnered with Hanson to redesign their popular DoorWays app. The handy tool, available for iOS and Android, makes it easy for users to design and visualize a new doorway for their home.
The redesigned ThermaTru.com and ThermaTruBenchmark.com feature a user-centered approach tailored to the modern purchase journey. Built on EpiServer, the new content focuses on inspiring and educating homeowners about purchasing a new door system. A streamlined product filtering and a Design Your Door tool also makes it easy to select products with confidence.
