In 2013 we moved to a new site with the following new features: - 11m height below hook. - 3,000m2 of workshop space. - 5,300m2 of floor space. - 500m2 of office space. - 4 high-tonnage overhead cranes. - FAT area separated from the production area. - Polishing area separated from the production area. - New, higher-tonnage machinery. - Provision of new organisational structures. - Increased workforce. Introduction:

Activities We are a company specialising in engineering and manufacturing equipment for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. Our core business is the design and manufacture to order of reactors, vessels, tanks, installations and other special equipment. Most of our production is entirely in stainless steel, both the most usual forms (AISI-316L, AISI-304, etc.) and special alloys (Duplex, Hastelloy, etc.).

Objectives TRAMEGA’s quality policy sets as its primary goal that of providing a service to meet the expectations of every customer, both actual and prospective, meeting all requirements in terms of products and service to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Background TRAMEGA is a limited company set up in 1984, carrying on the business of the firm TRAME, founded in 1975. TRAMEGA is short for "Trabajos Metálicos Egarenses".

Design and manufacture of process reactors, personalised and tailored to customer’s needs.

Pressure reactors are accredited through a conformity assessment system in accordance with module H of directive PED 97/23/EC, certifying design requirements under the codes of AD-Merkblätter and ASME div. VIII codes.

Design and manufacture of storage vessels for chemicals in accordance with the requirements of API-650 and the MIE-APQ regulations for storing chemicals and their supplementary technical instructions and for storage of inflammable liquids and fuels. Tramega has manufactured vessels of up to 200m3, with a maximum diameter of 4,200mm and length of 15m. Capacities have now been increased thanks to our new site and facilities.

Design and manufacture of single tube, floating and double plate pharmaceutical-grade exchangers. Tube joints in tube plates can be made using different types of weld: manual, orbital or welded and expanded tubes . The thermal calculations for the equipment can be included if the customer so requests. A Quality Book is produced for each piece of equipment manufactured.

The ingenuity and skill of our team is vital in the design and construction of pilot plants, as they must meet the process requirements to be simulated on a small scale.

Our engineering team has extensive experience in this field, and can offer good advice on how to achieve the best design.

Process equipment is designed in-house or jointly, and is developed to meet the specific needs of the end customer or third parties. Our quality system is set up to carry out and design the necessary intermediate and final checks necessary to ensure good results on equipment which is highly complex or takes a long time to construct.

Quality book

In order to give its customers the maximum guarantees, Tramega generates a Quality Book with a compilation of the documentation for each piece of equipment it builds.

For equipment not subject to EC marking: atmospheric containers or pressure equipment according to article 3 section 3, and for other types of construction.

For equipment subject to EC marking under any of the following directives:

The documentation generated for each piece of equipment is adapted to meet the customer’s needs. This can include any certificate or check the equipment may require.

• 97/23/EC category I or higher pressure equipment. • 2006/42/EC machines (assembly of parts of which at least one moves). •ATEX directive 94/9/CE (explosive atmospheres). • 2006/95/EC electrical equipment • 2004/108/EC electromagnetic compatibility.

Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance certifies that the TRAMEGA, S.A. quality management system has been approved in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 standard.

Lloyd's Register España, S.A. issues the EC certificate of conformity in accordance with Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC.

This quality management system is applicable to each and every one of the areas in the company, as well as in the design and construction of pressure equipment, atmospheric equipment and capital equipment and assures constant improvement at the firm.

This declaration certifies that the TRAMEGA, S.A. quality system has been assessed according to the requirements of annex III, module H of the Pressure Equipment Directive and meets the requirements for the design and manufacture of pressure containers for the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.

CERTIAEND certifies that the head of production at TRAMEGA, S.A. is qualified to carry out nondestructive tests using the liquid penetrant method at level 2 on welds, according to the requirements of the UNE EN 473:2001 standard
