In the foufthmeeting of the FastTrackCommittee heldon 10.11.2014, the following issues weredeliberated upon:

1. Induction of Course Completed ActApprentices against Safetyvacatcies. pay Stepping pre up of of 0L10U2006 appointed LocoInspectors oriRailways _2. 3. Nonallotment of properfundin Staffamenities, particularly improvement of railwayquafters, colonies, roads,seweretc. 4. Parityin paystructure for Stenographers in Railway at parwithCSS/RBSS. Out of the Committee Members, EDPC-I and EDF(E)werenot present. DE(P&A) was avaibleto assistthe Committee on Item No. 2 and ED/L&A-III for ItemNo.3 above. Item No. 1 above- Instructions alreadyexistthat CourseCompleted Act Apprentices can be engagedas substitutes in Group'D' underthe powers delegatedto GeneralManagers. Theseinstructions will be reiteratedfor Item No. 2 above- DE(P&A) mentioned that an S.L.Pis pendingbefore Hon'ble Supreme Courtin thismatter.General Secretaries of boththe Federations expressed their unhappiness and statedthat in the meetingof full Boardwith Federations held on 07.02.20L4, it was agreedto extendthe benefitto the remaining Zones.Assuch,theS.L.P. shouldbewithdrawn andmaLter besettled. Item No. 3 above- A briefon this issuewill be prepared by L&ADte., whichwill be sharedwith the General Secretaries of bothFederations for fufther discussion. GeneralSecretary/ AIRFinsistedfor 'Maintenance Allowance' to the employees for petty repairsof staffquafters. Item No. 4 above- On the issueof stenographic assistance to officerson the Railways, EDPC-IImentioned that existinginstructions on the subjecthave beenreiterat6d on 25.09.2014, a copyof the letterwasalsogivento the General Secretaries of bothFederations. ,^ I
