ABOUT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT Information Technology course started in the academic year 2001-02 with a vision to develop high quality Information Technology professionals through Quality Education and dedicated faculty. The Information Technology Department has well established state of the art computer laboratories and class rooms equipped with modern teaching aids and computing facilities. It is a

ABOUT STTP The main aim of the STTP is to give the apparent understanding in the field of bio-metric technology and health-care. Program includes the theory, design and application of bio-metrics based on physical features and traits for identification, verification and recognition; prediction and diagnosis of diseases for healthcare. This program will be useful for academicians, research scholars, industry persons who wish to intend specifics in biometric technology such as iris recognition, face recognition, fingerprint recognition, multi modal bio-metric recognition; and health-care such as prediction and diagnosis of diseases related to brain and heart using image processing techniques and machine learning algorithms.
STTP OBJECTIVES • To get acquainted with the significance of biometric systems, various biometric modalities and criteria for effective biometric system. • To enlighten the research with the applications of image processing and machine learning for healthcare domain. • To apply image processing techniques and machine learning algorithms in biometrics and healthcare. • To identify various challenges and limitations in biometrics and healthcare.
