Final Inter-Fraternity Council Sanctions 09/26/10 Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity 1.) Write an apology letter to the IFC Community: - This letter will be read at the IFC meeting, Tuesday, October 19, 2010 o Bring 17 copies of the letter, one for each Chapter and the IFC Executive Board 2.) Send two attendees to every recruitment round table and Legacy Week/recruitment discussion: - Must have two Chapter members at each meeting/roundtable of the 2010-2011 academic year 3.) Social Suspension: - Your Chapter is not permitted to participate in socials for the remainder of the 20102011 academic year - Your Chapter is not permitted to attend the Social-Social held during every semester, until the Spring semester of 2012 - Beginning in the fall semester of 2011, your chapter must be 100% complaint with FIPG standards. o The IFC Judicial Board will work with Fraternity Sorority Life to develop a monitoring a mechanism, and also an education mechanism to insure that all members are aware of what FIPG expects from its members/member chapters. The 100% monitored, compliance standards will be in place from fall semester 2011-fall semester 2013. 4.) Intramural Suspension: - Your Chapter is not permitted to participate in intramurals for the remainder of the 2010-2011 academic year 5.) Suspension of IFC voting: - Your Chapter is not permitted to participate any voting that takes place during IFC meetings or on behalf of IFC until the Spring semester of 2011 6.) Recruitment Presentation: - Your Chapter is to attend a joint presentation by a representative of Pi Kappa Alpha’s National Headquarters (this could possibly be an alumni) and a representative of BGSU’s Fraternity and Sorority Life on what they expect of the recruitment process - This is to be completed by the end of this Fall semester, 2010 o The date, time and place of this presentation is to be submitted to the IFC VP of Judicial Affairs by October 15, 2010 - At the completion of the presentation the agenda of topics discussed and a sign in sheet with 90 percent Chapter member attendance is to be submitted to the IFC VP of Judicial Affairs

Additionally, Pi Kappa Alpha will not be eligible for the chapter “level” awards until Spring semester 2012. This is to be construed to mean the gold, silver, and bronze level achievement awards as well as best chapter. Individual awards, and categorical awards will not be effected.
