What would you do?  Imagine you are offered a choice; admit a lesser charge and go to prison for a shorter time (even though you are innocent) or fight to protect your freedom. What would you choose? 2. Do the reading “American Violet: A criminal justice story” that is on the same page of the book. Divide the text so that 5 or 6 people can read out loud and practice pronunciation. 3. After reading, they have some minutes to answer some questions related to the text itself.
