PARTICIPATION IN THE PHILIPPINE RED CROSS' MILLION VOLUNTEER RUN TO:

1. In support to the Philippine Red Cross (PRO) specifically the Million Volunteer Run 3 (MVR 3) the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas enjoins the participation of selected students and teachers in the abovementioned activity which will be held on December 13, 2015 at Dasmarinas City. 2. All public secondary schools are required to submit names of student runners following the count below: SCHOOL

3. The student runners must be Grade 9 or 10, male or female, and preferably athletes. Non-athletes may be allowed to join provided that they are in good health condition. Being sponsored by the local PRC partner which shouldered the P400 registration fee per runner, these students shall be classified as official MVR 3 runners and be given a singlet, race bib, and a runner's card. They are also entitled to the prizes to be given by PRO to exceptional finishers of 3K and 5K run (medals and certificates with cash prize). 4. On the other hand, the student runners from SSG and/or CAT, will be classified as volunteer runners. They will NOT be paying the registration fee of P400, therefore, will not be issued with a singlet, a race bib, and a runner's card. While they are not entitled to receive prizes for the official runners and finishers, they may be selected to receive special awards sponsored by the National College of Science and Technology (NCST). 5. All student runners — official and volunteer — are required to secure a waiver signed by their parent or guardian. This must be submitted, together with the names of the runners, to the Division Office on December 11 (Friday). 6.

Distribution of the singlets, race bibs, and runners' cards of the official MVR 3 runners (Grade 9 or 10 student athletes per school) will be at the Division Office on December 11 (Friday), upon submission of the list of names of student runners endorsed by the school head as well as the signed waiver.

7. As for the volunteer runners (SSG/ CAT officers per school), since no singlet will be provided, they are required to wear a red shirt in place of the official MVR 3 singlet. 8. Aside from the student runners, each school is also required to send at least two (2) teachers who will serve as guide/ chaperone who will accompany the students in the activity. They will be classified as volunteer runners too, therefore, will not be asked to pay the registration fee. Just like the student volunteer runners, they are required to wear a red shirt. 9. Should there be other students, teachers, and Division Office personnel interested to participate in the MVR 3, a list of their names should be forwarded to the Division Office not later than December 9 (Wednesday). For official runners, payment of the P400 registration fee shall be made on the same date. Claiming of their respective singlets, race bibs and runners' cards shall be scheduled within the week. 10. Assembly time for the Million Volunteer Run 3 on December 13 (Sunday) is at 4:00 AM at the parking space of SM City Dasmarinas. The race starts at 5:30 AM.
