MUSEUM OF MISERICÓRDIA Located in a building dating from the 17th century. MEMORIAL OF BAIANAS Presents stories and themes related to the craft of the Bahian women selling acarajé (a traditional food), recognized as a cultural patrimony of Brazil by Iphan. ACCLAMATION PALACE Decorated with lovely framed panels, garlands, and bows painted by Presciliano Silva. Its collection consists of furniture in the D. MANOR OF THE ARTS Located in the old manor of the Bernardo Martins Catarino family, built in 1912. Today it contains a modern annex to host temporary expositions. Works by Auguste Rodin displayed in the garden: “Jean de Fiènnes Nude” (1886), “The Man Who Walks on the Column” (1877), “The Torso of Shade” (1901) and “The Martyr” (1885). ANNA NERY NATIONAL NURSING MUSEUM The collection covers the practice of caring for the sick, and the social, economic, and religious influences that have affected the history and formation of nursing professionals.
