1.2 Community/Organization Background: (one paragraph) Wat Metarang School is a kindergarten and primary school. It established in 1924 and located in Sam Khok district in Pathum Thani province. Students of this school are from children who live nearby the school. The number of students is 36 people and they don’t have a well basic knowledge of English. 1.3 Overall Activity: - Inspiration On 15th September 2016, we conducted a survey at Wat Metarang School. We found that the school needs some reparation such as board decoration and growing plant. Moreover, the students of this school don’t have well basic knowledge of English.

Atmosphere of execution On 22 December 2016, we went to Wat Metarang School in order to do lots of activities with children such as playing games, and teaching English to make them enjoy and love to learn English more. 9

In the morning, we play games with the students and give rewards to them who participate with our activities.
In the afternoon, we teach English about the useful words and sentences that they can apply in their lives. On 23 December 2016, we decorate the board to give the knowledge about the word of Christmas’s Day to make the student interest and can recognize the words. Moreover, we plant flowers to create good atmosphere for the school.

Daily group evaluation After we finished all of activities with children, in the end of the day we group together and discuss about activities in the first day and ask about someone get any problems or not. Then we talk about the second day plan and make sure that everything is in order.

What have you learned from this activity? Do you think this experience useful for your future? To begin with what i have learned from this activity, i have learned to be a good giver without hoping for any expectation. There are so many children that lack of opportunities in life not only food, money, but sometimes education. The students at WatMetarand School they did not learn what they should learn because of lack of teacher who voluntary teach them especially the location is far away from civilized city. Moreover, i felt really very happy to do a lot of activities there, I saw their smiles, they really enjoy with us and they are willing to learn new things especially English even if sometimes they told us English is difficult but by the way they enjoy and concentrate with our lessons. We have learned how to encourage people and that is a good thing for us and the children. We fulfilled their fun, love and care and they also fulfilled those for us as well. From this activity, I have a chance to learn many things. I see that education is very important for everyone but the students of this school lack of good opportunities to get a well knowledge especially English language because they live in rural area and their parents don't have enough money to support them. Therefore, this chance gives me to understand more about the word 'giving'. Even though, I have only two days to teach and give knowledge to them but I am confident that the knowledge that I give to them can improve and make them love to learn English more. Moreover, I learns that a good environment can make the students enjoy to study more, so we have to create a good atmosphere such as growing trees, decorate the board about Christmas's Day to make them feel happy and receive the happiness from us. From this activity, I have learned a lot of lessons that open different point of view. First of all, our group had the activities with disadvantaged children and we provided a lot of prizes and snacks. The children were cheerful to see us and those prizes and snacks. As a result, they went along with our activities to get the prizes. Secondly, on the first day we had the activities with children and also taught English. I was glad to give the knowledge that I have to them. Thirdly, we have to repair the school. I planted flowers to decorate the school and also cleaned some garbage and leaves. Lastly, at the end of the day I saw two boys that one of them picked our marker pen that fall on the floor and pasted on the table that I sat but another boy whispered (but I heard them) that kept it, otherwise they will bring them back to BKK. I was really shocked to this situation, it is just a marker pen!! I am not sure the the boy who picked the marker pen is a good boy or he saw that I am watching them? He shaked his head and pasted it on the table. This experience is very useful for my future

They said that there are not so many students in the school so they have enough education tools for the students but there are still lack of educators. I learned a lot from this activity such as learned how to be a donator. When I went to school, children look haapy and joy with us. The children are nice and attend our activities. My position is decorate the Chrismas board for children. I learned how to work together with a coworker and learned how to problem-solving. I also learned how to living with others. This activity is very useful for the lack of opportunities children that their family trouble. This activity that made me understand the children more. I known one thing that the education is very important for everyone especially for children. If they have a good education and environment can make them growing up as a good citizen.The experience that I got from this activity is useful and I will link that with my daily life.

I learned a lots of thing from this project. First of all, i learned to work with other people. We don't know each other before this activity but when it time to work everyone are very friendly and they to their own work very well. Moreover i learned to give the opportunity to other people like this children. This children are poor children who don't have a lots of toy to play. Then when we bring toy to them it make them very happy and it make we happy too.
First, i learn "teamwork" because it seem very hard to work with people you don't know before but finally our group are cooperate and do it very well. Second, i learn "sharing". It is a very good thing when you give a thing to a people who don't have it. Third, i learn "kindness". I don't actually like to play with kid but when it time to work i learn to use it because i have be kind and play with this kid and that make me feel very happy too. Finally i learn "scarifies". Because it very important when you work we need to do it sometime to make the group looks good.

Children here are lack of English language because they are in rural area which is far from the urban place. Children here may not usually get the best gift or the big one because they live in rural which is also far from malls and market. Their parents might not go out all the time so they children are excited to get one. When we all gave a gifts to the children it makes me happy to see their smile that will make both side happy. Yes i think its useful in the future because this activity had taught me that you help people with you heart but not with a reward in return's. Helping people can also give you happiness is when you get a smile from people that you help which it will be precious once you experience. And this will be a good memory for you to remember too.
