ForImmediateReleaseApril15,2011   TURBOCOATINGCORP.USAANNOUNCES110NEWJOBS AND$15,000,000ININVESTMENTINHICKORY  HICKORY–TurbocoatingCorp.USA,aEuropeanmarketleaderincoatingsforthegasturbineindustry, haschosentolocatetheirfirstUSoperationinHickory,CatawbaCounty.Thecompanywilllocatea manufacturingoperationintheCatawbaIndustrialCommonsinHickory,creating110newjobswithan annualaveragewageofover$50,000andinvesting$15millionoverthenext5years.ThisHickory manufacturingfacilitywillprovidespecializedservicesforpartsusedinthegasturbineengines producedbySiemens,GE,AlstomandRollsRoyce.ThelocationofTurbocoatinginHickoryfurther reinforcestheCharlotteregionasanenergyhub.  TurbocoatingCorp.USAplansa10yearleaseof60,000squarefeetintheCatawbaIndustrial Commons.Turbocoatingwillinvest$15millioninbuildingupfitandequipment.Whilethesalarieswill varyfrompositiontoposition,the110newjobstobecreatedwillhaveanaveragesalaryofover $50,000ayear,excludingthebenefitspackage.
