Leta has been elected to serve on the board of directors for Fourth Street Clinic. Fourth Street Clinic provides quality health care services and related support to Utah’s homeless population. By increasing access to primary medical care for these individuals and their families, and delivering it in a coordinated clinical setting, Fourth Street Clinic is a major partner in promoting community health, ending homelessness and achieving across-the-board health care savings. At Snell & Wilmer, Leta has more than 40 years’ experience representing debtors, creditors, trustees, creditor committees, asset purchasers, vendors, equity holders and other parties in all aspects of financial disputes, including collections, foreclosures, workouts, receiverships and bankruptcy. His David Leta experience enables him to analyze a financial situation from multiple perspectives and design creative, durable solutions. As an advocate, he handles litigation for clients involving the United States Bankruptcy Code, the Federal and Bankruptcy Rules of Procedure, the Uniform Commercial Code and applicable state laws. Leta also serves as a neutral in mediating financial disputes for non-clients. He received his J.D. from The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law where he graduated Order of the Coif. Quinney College of Law Board of Trustees, where he also serves as the chair of the Board’s Fundraising Committee.
