Frequently Asked Questions about Student Fees How can I pay for my student fees? You can make the check payable to HHSC and send it to school with your student. Please make sure that their name and grade are clearly marked on the envelope so we can apply it to the correct account. You may also pay your balance through the office with Cash, Check, Money Order, Visa, or Master Card. We can also take credit card payments over the phone. Checks can be mailed to Hamilton Heights School Corporation, PO Box 642, Arcadia, IN 46030 or brought to the High School 8am-3pm on school days. Can I pay online? At this time we are not able to receive credit card payments through the parent portal or our school website. I logged into my parent portal, however I am unable to see my fees. At this time you may be unable to view your student fees because you are accessing them on Apple devices, mobile phones, Google Chrome, PCs with old versions of Java, or Flash, etc. We are working with our software vendor to allow all parents to view their student balances online. In the meantime, we recommend using Mozilla Firefox and the most updated version of Java and/or Flash. When are fees available? Primary and Elementary school fees are available on the Parent Portal before the school year begins. Middle and High School fees are available to view on the Parent Portal in September. Why do I still have a balance on my student fees? The state adjustments to textbooks and workbooks for free and reduced students will be applied sometime in September or October. You will be responsible for the other fees column that shows on your fee statement as well as any technology damages and lost or damaged text and/or library books that show on your fee statement. Who do I contact about my F/R Applications status? Please contact Patty Hicks, HHSC Food Service Director/HHES Cafeteria Manager, at
[email protected] or 317-984-3547 XT 3030. When the Food Service Director approves an application, a letter is mailed to the parent/guardian as an approval confirmation.
