You will need your SSN to login by phone. The second way is to go online to WebConnect at https://substitute.roundrockisd.org/webconnect/login/login.asp. You will need your Last Name and a Password (which is your SSN without dashes). 5. What is WebConnect? WebConnect is a CRS Subfinder feature which allows substitutes online access to available job information, previously only available by telephone. WebConnect can be found at the following link: https://substitute.roundrockisd.org/webconnect/login/login.asp.. This link can also be found on the Substitute Information page. When using Webconnect, you are able to view more than one available job at a time. You are also able to access your personal information and enter your availability, as well as control when the system should not call you by using the Do Not Disturb feature. 6. What is voicing, and why is it important? All substitutes using CRS Subfinder must voice their name in the system. This must be done by telephone at 4645180, regardless of whether you will use the phone or WebConnect to browse jobs. Without an electronic recording of your name stored in CRS Subfinder, the system will not call you for available jobs. 7. Can substitutes view past jobs? At this time, you are only able to view future or current positions worked using WebConnect. If you want to track the jobs worked, we recommend printing a copy of the list at the time the job is accepted for future reference. 8. How can I request to add or remove a campus from my substitute profile? At this time, you may send an email to
[email protected] with the new information. 9. Can I be requested by a teacher for a specific assignment? Yes. The teacher can do this using Webconnect using your name or CRS Subfinder ID number. The teacher’s campus must be on your list of acceptable campus locations in order for the request to be processed. You must accept the job promptly either by phone or by using WebConnect in order to confirm the assignment. If the request is submitted during the evening calling period on the day before the assignment, Subfinder will only call you once before it will begin to contact other substitutes for the assignment. Please note that if you have requested Do Not Disturb, Subfinder will be unable to contact you by phone for the assignment, and it may be missed. 10. Can I be prearranged for an assignment? Yes, you may be prearranged for an assignment. This must be coordinated by the employee and the campus administrator.

Frequently Asked Questions Substitutes 11. Is there a limit to how long I can view a job on Webconnect? As you shop for jobs, please keep in mind that others may also be interested in a job you’re currently viewing. Please close jobs promptly if you will not be accepting them so the system can offer them to others. 12. Are jobs on WebConnect available at all times? It is possible that an assignment is unavailable for selection if someone else is viewing it. Please also note that Subfinder is also actively calling in the morning and evening hours. Therefore, it is possible that the assignment is unavailable while Subfinder is currently calling out to fill it. 13. What time of the day is Subfinder calling to fill jobs? Subfinder has two calling periods each day. The morning calling period is from 5:00am to 1:00pm. During this period, Subfinder calls to offer positions for that day only. The evening calling period is from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. During this period, Subfinder calls to offer positions for the following or future days. 14. What does Do Not Disturb mean? Do Not Disturb is a status you can activate for a period of time where you prefer to not have Subfinder call you by phone. During this period, you can still find jobs using WebConnect or by calling in to 512-464-5180. Keep in mind that during the period you are on Do Not Disturb, you will not be contacted by phone for requested assignments. 15. What is the daily rate for a campus substitute?
