FROZEN CONCENTRATED ORANGE JUICE DESCRIPTION The frozen concentrated orange juice is prepared from fresh, sound and mature oranges (Citrus sinensis) without addition of other species or GMO. The product may not be adulterated in any way and may not be processed in any manner that would alter the sensory or nutritional properties outside the normal range of the original fruit. The juice is processed at a sufficiently high temperature to reduce the number of viable microorganisms and to eliminate all enzymatic activity. The product must be processed to achieve at minimum a five log reduction of the most resistant microorganism of public health significance. Water is physically removed from the juice resulting in Orange Juice Concentrate. The product is manufactured, packaged and stored under hygienic-sanitary conditions based on food safety systems such as current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP principles.
