WHY DO WE FUNDRAISER This is our 5th year of fundraising. Fundraising has become an important piece of funding used to build the Rise as One program. Funds that are raised by Rise as One basketball fundraiser will help keep cost down and provide the very best AAU experience. Rise as One teams will be competing regionally and nationally, as we have not raised our prices due to the fundraiser. All AAU team members will participate in the fundraiser.

HOW FUNDRAISING WILL WORK Every team will be given a fundraising minimum goal, which is based off the total tournament fees of their team. Since every level (GREY, BLACK, RED) goes into different tournaments, the goals will be different for each team. Once the team goes over their goal, any funds left over will go toward putting that team into extra tournaments. A team could potentially play in 2-3 extra tournaments during the spring AAU season, if they raise the funds. Implementing this system will allow the program to offer the best AAU experience that are on par with top AAU programs at a fraction of the cost. Parents will have the option to opt-out of the fundraiser by paying the minimum individual team fee. Fundraiser will last approximately one month. What fundraising helps us provide: • • • • • • • • • •

Tournaments Open Gym The Basketball Factory Training Extra Court time for all teams (we practice more than any other AAU) Practice Uniform TBF T-shirts Under Armour Gear Coaches travel for out of town tournaments Hire high-end coaches Compete in AAU State tournament

Without fundraising, our program would be severely limited and would be force to raise AAU registration fees to cover the cost. Example for each team fundraiser goal: Rise as One Red Teams: Fundraiser Team Goal $2,580 (level I) Rise as One Black Teams: Fundraiser Team Goal $1,440 (level II) Rise as One Grey Teams: Fundraiser Team Goal $1,200 (level II) Redshirt Players: $125 Once you get your roster and based on how many players you have on the team members split your teams cost evenly. For example: If RA1 GREY has 10 players on their team their minimum goal is $1,200. Divide $1,200 by 10 players the total would be $120. Each player on the team would have to raise $120 through fundraising. You will have two options on how to pay your part of the fundraiser goal. Option 1) Your goal is to get as many sponsors as possible, $15 for friends, $20 for family, and $30 for businesses. Same rules apply as last year. If you exceed your fundraiser goal amount you will be put into extra tournaments until you run out of money. For each business sponsor sold, the company logo will be put on a huge “THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT” banner. This banner will be up for all practices and events at The House of Sports. For all family, friends, and businesses there names will be listed on the back of a t-shirt. Every team member who participates in the fundraiser will receive a shirt. All entries given in person will not be accepted. Option 2) You can opt out and write a check to “ The House of Sports” for whatever your balance may be.

FUNDRAISER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT I acknowledge that I have received, and read the above fundraiser for Rise as One. I understand that the fundraiser is mandatory and failure to participate will prevent a player from participating in tournaments until fundraiser is complete. Furthermore all extra gear provided by Under Armour will not be provided until fundraiser is complete.
