Bleach Music Festival The Bleach Rock Musical has returned. After a four year hiatus, they have finally decided to return back to stage and bring back the magic. The musical is now titled as Mou Hitotsu no Chijo ( Rock Musical Bleach- Another Land). Is OG the unstoppable force of Dota 2?

Friendship indeed conquers all as OG clinches yet another LAN title. But will their Team 'Secret'ly choke? Na’Vi has been in murky waters with their form. With some amazing performances, they still failed to deliver what it takes to actually win a tournament. However, they did see themselves through to the grand finale of ESL one Frankfurt. This led many to wonder whether Na’Vi was indeed back and that they would eventually win something, considering they found themselves in 2 LAN grand finals over the past 2 months. Enter OG, who trashed Na’Vi and clinched a 3-0 victory in a ‘Best of 5’ Grand Finale. Now, OG had another title in their kitty. It seems like they have had an amazing year except for the debacle at Shanghai Major. The team, previously called (monkey) business, soon rose to be the underdog and became the audiences’ favourite in no time. They’ve stuck together through

roster changes and when questioned about their secret to success, Tal ‘fly’ Aizik quickly replied, ‘Friendship conquers all’. OG, in the Frankfurt Major, showed everyone why they were sitting high up on the roost sporting the no.1 title. Saying that they outplayed Na’Vi would be an understatement. They simply didn’t give a quarter. Game 1 saw Na’Vi desperately trying to shut down Miracle’s mid lane. But, Fly’s Dazzle and Cr1t’s Earth Spirit foiled every attempt with their impeccable rotation. MAFIA III |Preview Fans went bat-shit crazy after Mafia II hit the shelves, demanding more from the franchise. Well, their prayers have been blessed. 7th October will see this franchise returning with its third instalment. We haven’t seen any Mafia III details emerge for Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. The new trailer only mentions Xbox One, PS4 and PC so things are looking pretty grim for those who are still holding onto last-gen platforms. Mafia III will not bring you back to Empire Bay. Instead, the game is set in New Orleans called New Bordeaux .The game takes place in the year of 1968 and revolves around Lincoln Clay, a biracial orphan. As an orphan, he constantly searched for family and with it, a sense of belonging. Until, finally, he joined the armed forces during the Vietnam War. After serving, he returns to New Bordeaux to re-join the Black Mob, a criminal organization with many enemies. After surviving a culling attempt by the Italian Mob, Clay, the sole survivor, starts his own criminal organisation to get revenge. The hero of the previous Mafia game Vito Scarletta is seen aiding Lincoln Clay along with Cassandra, and Burke. The new game in the Mafia series is packed with awesome storyline, great graphics, amazing soundtracks, and as expected of a Mafia game, epic gunplay. The players will now be able to shoot while still in cover receiving no damage. For all the car lovers out there, Mafia 3 has three exclusive collectible cars which includes Lincoln’s car featured in the trailer. This is the first game in this series which will have an open world game play. I love RPG’s and, although this game is by no means an RPG, it will still provide the player with some role-playing options in a smaller scale. Special moments where you choose whether your victim stays alive or, well, take a hint. You can distribute the conquered territories to your associates. Depending on which, Clay will receive support from Cassandra, Vito, and/or Burke. Vito can provide support in the form of better quality weapons whereas Burke provides extra hands while you are on a mission. It also helps as their aim is spot on. Cassandra restricts the enemy reinforcements from arriving. You can’t get all the benefits from all associates in one game play. So if you give all of your territories to Burke you won’t get the Bad-ass gun that Vito carries. And lastly the game does not have a fixed ending; yup it has multiple endings depending on the various choices you make during the game play. Hour Of The Zombie

The main character, Akira, is obsessed with his fellow classmate Kurumi. But Kurumi is in love with his best friend Umezawa. And now, Kurumi is also a Zombie.

Therefore, almost the entirety of the first volume of Hour of the Zombie is dedicated to Akira being completely bat-shit crazy over Kurumi despite her drooling z ombie-ness and fixation on his best friend. I’d suggest you don’t aggravate and yell, ‘Get over her already, dude’ at the screen in the first volume. There is more to this series that just that. The volume ended with a cliff-hanger indicating there may be hope for zombie students. Something happens that one does not see in the zombie world, and we are left with many questions unanswered. 28

There’s also the addition of a mysterious character called Kisaragi who, albeit all the madness, seems very calm. So far, Hour of the Zombie functions as an introduction to a world where zombie students run amok and the rest have to fight to survive. While the protagonist tries to woo his Zombie crush, we are still entertained by the stupidity of it all. With abundant violence and not an overwhelming amount of gore, I’m going with a 50/50 chance and hoping that it would surprise you. July 2016

Beginning with the design of the manga, there’s plenty more to like in Hour of the Zombie. There’s minimal use of blood and gore in the grander scope of manga, but, when used, it sticks with you. A great example would be when one student is thrown to the masses as a distraction and shows up later with half of his face chomped off with an eyeball, barely hanging to the nerves, just glaring at you.

For all you Ecchi fans, this show will be your new craving. I have watched many Ecchi animes, but this was quite a contender. How hot would it be if a bunch of monster girls had a crush on you? Surprisingly, the premise is more solid than the standard ecchi. And, unsurprisingly, the art is very solid. I’ll admit that the animation of the liminals’ bodies was well done.

A gorgeously stark book based on a fictional Norse background, Black Road offers nothing less than promised. Set it Norway, the book is about the war between Pagans and the Christian crusade. If you like Game of Thrones or Vikings, this is something you shouldn’t miss out on. As a book, the art is stunning and viciously attractive. The fine detailing of the characters brings out the dark, expressive nature giving the book a good emotional quality. The art style represents cold numbness of the characters and portrays the environment perfectly, reflecting the savagery that played across ancient Norway. A prime example of the exemplary artwork would be the realistic feel when you see the Vikings bang their axes and shields together. It invokes Gamers&Anime

Warcraft

In late 2007, the darkest corners of the internet echoed with whispers, ‘A Warcraft movie is being made’. Then was born the excessive spam suggesting it was an impossible feat. Finally, from the ashes of all of this internet waste, on 9th of June, Warcraft dazzled the screens worldwide. The movie is a loose adaptation of the novel called Warcraft by Christie Golden. This spawned two games, ‘Warcraft’ (RPG) and ‘World Of Warcraft’(MMORPG) developed by Blizzard Entertainment. Being a huge fan of the games, I was really excited and scared at the same time. Hollywood’s reputation of not being able to make a videogame movie up to the mark of the fans was at it’s peak. No one can forget the debacle called ‘Mortal Kombat’ and ‘Street Figher’. These examples were of the attempts that ruined the game, to the point that even the people not familiar with the game were frustrated by it. Directed by Duncan Jones, it was dubbed as the ‘Low Budget Lord of the Rings’. Now we know that’s some bullshit. Fans of the games, who know the lore, will understand that it is Gamers&Anime

literally impossible to show it in its full glory. I was curious to see how they would explain the story in the movie and which direction it would take as far as the lore goes but I’ll come back to that later. Now, this movie is based on the very first game, ‘Warcraft: Humans and Orcs’. It was about the first war between these two rival factions, the first among many to come. They’ve taken the liberty of changing bits and pieces of the lore, which is completely fine. But it also had a few scenes which made absolutely no sense. Like Khadgar (Ben Schnetzer) and Garona (Paula Patton) randomly discussing about their parents next to a campfire. It’s just completely out of sync with the flow of the movie. The movie mainly focuses around three main characters; the Human Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel), the commander of the Alliance and best friend to the Guardian Medivh (Ben Foster). Secondly, the Orc Durotan (Toby Kebell), the leader of the Frostwolf clan, and lastly the evil Warlock Gul’dan (Daniel Wu) who commands the Horde which consists of

various clans of the Orcs with Blackhand (Clancy Brown) as his right hand man. The relationships of Lothar and Durotan with their respective families provide a small drama in this, otherwise, epic fantasy movie. There’s a lot of bloodshed, treachery, witchcraft, spells zooming here and there. Well, it’s a war. But this war helps explain why the Humans and the Orcs have been at each other’s throats through the ages.

The movie had the subtle Easter-eggs like the Murlocs and their ‘RwlRwlRwlRwl’(Blizzards Spelling) sounds, the map of Azeroth before the sundering depicting Goldshire and Elwynn forests, the city of Ironforge and its natives, the Dwarves, the high elves of the Elwynn forests, and Gul’Dan mentioning about his master.

But for me the best part about the movie was the CGI involved. From Gul’Dan sucking the With their homeland, Draenor, dying, the Orcs hope to find a new home. They venture souls of innocents to the comical, yet impeccable timing of Khadgar’s polymorph through the Dark Portal created by the Warlock Gul’Dan and enter Azeroth, the world spell, it was amazing! Yet, I felt that some characters were left half assed. Like Garona Halforcen for example, who isn’t the daughter of Medivh and is also a deadly assassin, looked like a human with a green skin condition! Now I know that the movie featured the ‘Good’ orcs brown skinned and the bad/Fel corrupted orcs green skinned but still, come on. Guardian Medivh (who died and made him Guardian?), who secretly snorted on Fel magic, lacked even an iota of back-story. Plus, the Kirin Tor mages has some really freaky eyes. Then there was the addition of Callan, the son of Lothar, and Lady Taria, who weren’t really mentioned in the lore. Plus, changing Alodi, the first guardian, into a female felt a bit odd to me.

fans would agree that making a movie about the novel ‘Warcraft: The First Guardian’ by Jeff Grubb would’ve been better if they wanted to explain the whole story from the beginning.
