Geelong Wheelchair Rugby Development Program Wheelchair Rugby is coming to Geelong! Disability Sport & Recreation in partnership with Parallel Sports and Leisure Networks will be coordinating a Wheelchair Rugby development program in Geelong. Wheelchair Rugby is a fast paced team sport designed for people with impairment in at least 3 limbs. It is played on an indoor basketball court and the purpose of the game is to score goals by crossing the opposition’s goal line with possession of the ball, whilst your opponents try to block, crash and trap your every move. A number of rugby chairs will be made available for use along with coaching and support. So don’t miss out and be part of the fastest growing wheelchair sport in the world as it makes its debut in Geelong!
