Each of the themes is followed in a way that shows the similarities to the actual Albany area of upstate New York because the movement that is used is still commonly used today and the place would still be somewhat similar. The landforms that are reflected in the book are similar to the the landforms because there are mountains and rivers in the book similar to the upstate area of New York.
