The end of the school year is well within everyone’s sights and preparations for next Fall’s Girl’s Tennis season are under way. Today, families can begin getting sports physicals for the 2016-17 school year. You may turn these in to the Mrs. Gonzales in the DMS Office. We would advise you to make a photocopy of the signed forms. Forms for middle school sports and activities are available in the main office or can be e-mail out too.

Equipment Needs 1) Racquet - All players will need a full size racquet. No junior sized racquets. If unsure, please ask one of the coaches for a recommendation. Need a new racquet? Academy Sports has a wide range of racquets at reasonable prices. A good racquet will last you through middle and high school.
2) Shorts with pockets – A challenge for girls to find but they are out there. Players need to have pockets in order to hold an extra tennis ball when serving. Another option would be to secure a ball clip or purchase a tennis skirt. Academy Sports has a selection of tennis shorts at or under $20.
