Roy High Girls Soccer 2018-2019 Meeting Snow College Soccer Camp: This is a weeklong soccer camp for anyone interested in trying out for our
program. Participating in this camp does not guarantee a spot on the team. It is a way to improve individually and as a program as we prepare for tryouts. We stay in apartments. We play about two games per day. The number of teams will depend on the number of girls who commit to coming. The fee includes the bus ride, lodging, food and two t-shirts. DATES: June 18-22 COST: $300 RESERVATION: To reserve your spot, you MUST pay $50 to the bookkeeper by Tuesday May 8th. We have to let Snow College know if advance how many girls we have going. We won’t be able to add anyone to the camp after May 8th. Final payment must be paid to the bookkeeper by Wednesday June 6th.

Summer Conditioning: We will begin summer conditioning on June 11th. We will train Monday through
Thursday. Time TBA. Meet at Sandridge Park! This is for any girl interested in tryouts. This is not a requirement. However, it will help the girls be prepared for tryouts and season.
Tryouts: July 30th – August 1st 6 pm-9 pm at Sandridge Park.
-Students must have 4th Quarter GPA of 2.0 with only 1 F. -Students must have attendance credit loss of 0.75 or less. -Meet team expectations such as: attending every training and game, maintaining grades, following school policies, and being a positive example of our program and our school.
Game: Our first game is Tuesday August 7th vs Weber High School at Sandridge Park. Fundraisers:
1) Roy Girls Soccer Summer Camp: June 11th-13th This will be a soccer camp for elementary and junior high students. It will help those in the community to meet the players and to help them develop their skills. We hope that this will get future players excited to be a part of our program! More information to come!! 2) 59 Minute Fundraiser: Friday August 3rd at 6 pm. Our program will be making phone calls to get donations for 59 minutes. 3) Car Wash: Date TBA. Each girl will be required to sell 10 tickets!
Costs: Player pack will cost approximately $250. The state fee is $85. Any money raised for fundraisers will go to the program NOT individual players.
Uniforms: The program is going to be fundraising to pay for the jerseys. This means that the players are not
going to keep the jerseys. We will pass them out at the beginning of the season and collect them at the end of the season. Shorts and socks will be included in the player pack and will be kept by the players.
