TOTAL MAN GAMES LOST: 72 RECENT TRANSACTIONS: Nov. 21-Matt Climie reassigned to Chicago. Nov. 20-Matt Climie recalled from Chicago. Nov. 17-Eddie Lack reassigned to Chicago. TAKING THE LEAD The Canucks have capitalized when scoring the first goal of a game, posting a record of 12-3-0 when doing so. They lead the League for most wins when scoring first. Scoring has been evenly distributed with a total of 11 skaters on the Canucks roster having scored the first goal of a game; Sami Salo (3), Daniel Sedin (2) and Manny Malhotra (2) are the only Canucks skaters to have more than one leadoff goal. Daniel led the League in 2010.11 in first goals of the game with 12. V FOR VICTORY With a win Nov. 23/11 at COL, Alain Vigneault became the winningest coach in Canucks franchise history. His 247th win in his 431st game as the Canucks bench boss passed Marc Crawford's 246 wins in 529 games as Canucks head coach. Vigneault accomplished the feat against the franchise Crawford first started his coaching career, the Quebec Nordiques/Colorado Avalanche. Since joining the Canucks, Vigneault has set franchise records in wins (54) and points (117) and has led Vancouver to its first Presidents' Trophy, four Northwest Division Championships and a Stanley Cup Final appearance. The Jack Adams Award winner (2007) has a combined regular season record of 250-142-42, representing the franchise's most successful winning percentage (.624) by a Vancouver head coach. SCHNEIDER'S STAR Cory Schneider was named the NHL's second star for the week ending Nov. 27th after posting a 3-0-0 record with a 0.67 goals-against average, .978 save percentage and two shutouts. Schneider followed up that impressive week by stopping a career high 47 of 48 shots against the Columbus Blue Jackets in a 4-1 win. Schneider is currently second in the NHL in save percentage (.937) and tied for fourth in goals against average (1.93). The 25-year-old Marblehead, Mass., native was originally selected 26th overall by Vancouver in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. WITH THE ADVANTAGE Through Nov. 30/11 the Vancouver Canucks rank first in the NHL on the power play (24.8%). The Canucks power play combined for five goals on six power play opportunities, Nov. 6/11 at CHI. Vancouver last registered five power play goals Jan. 13/07 at Toronto in a 6-1 win. The franchise record for power play goals in a single game is six and has happened on two occasions (Oct. 7/83 vs MIN and Mar. 19/92 vs CGY). Daniel Sedin ranks tied for first in the League for power play points (4-9-13) and is within one power play goal of surpassing Trevor Linden (97) in third for most in franchise history. SWEET NOVEMBER Dan Hamhuis recorded 10 points (2-8-10) in 13 games played in November. His output trailed only four NHL defenders in scoring for the month of November and led all Canucks defenders. In his eighth NHL season, Hamhuis has never recorded more points in a single calendar month. He is currently three points from reaching 200 career NHL points. TOP GUNS

Dating back to the start of the 2010.11 regular season, Daniel and Henrik Sedin have been among the League's top scorers per game. Only Sidney Crosby's 1.67 points per game (77 points in 46 games played) leads Daniel Sedin in that span. Daniel has registered 1.24 points per game (131 points in 106 GP), Martin St. Louis has posted 1.12 per game (118 in 105 GP), Henrik has collected 1.11 points per game (118 in 106 games played) and Corey Perry (116 in 105 GP) has recorded 1.10 points per game to round out the top five (through Nov. 29/11). 500 AND COUNTING Nov. 23/11 at Colorado, Ryan Kesler dressed in his 500th career NHL game, all with Vancouver. Among active U.S. born centremen, Kesler ranks eighth in games played and is two games from passing NY Rangers centreman Mike Rupp (504 GP) to move into seventh (through Nov. 30/11). Having now skated in 518 games with Vancouver, he is seventh on the all-time list among Canucks defenders in games played. He has also made his way to the top of a number of other franchise lists. With the game-winning goal Nov. 25/11 at PHX Salo (20) surpassed Mattias Ohlund (19) as the Canucks defenceman with the most game-winning goals in franchise history. Ohlund registered 19 GWGs in 770 games played with Vancouver while Salo now has 20 GWGs in 517 games played. Out of Salo's 70 goals scored for Vancouver, 28.6% of them have been GWGs. That is the highest percentage of game-winners among all Canucks to record 15 or more goals. Salo leads all Canucks defencemen all-time in power play goals scored with 44 and has scored the most OT goals (7) among Canucks defencemen in franchise history (through Nov. 30/11). RISING STOCK With a goal Nov. 6/11 at CHI, Daniel Sedin moved into fourth place on the Canucks all-time goal scoring list past Pavel Bure. Daniel's 256 career goals with Vancouver trail only Stan Smyl (262), Trevor Linden (318) and Markus Naslund (346). While a successful sniper, Daniel also is among franchise leaders in assists. His 422 career assists trail only brother Henrik Sedin (525). With 97 career power play goals, Daniel is tied for third among all-time Canucks and is one power play goal from moving past Trevor Linden (97) (through Nov. 30/11). ON THE DRAW The Vancouver Canucks are sixth in the NHL in faceoff percentage, winning 52.1% of draws the team has taken. Canucks centreman Manny Malhotra has contributed to this team success. Malhotra is currently third in the NHL in faceoff percentage, winning 58.5% of draws taken (through Nov. 30/11). IRON MAN Canucks captain Henrik Sedin played in his 500th consecutive game Oct. 6/11 vs PIT and is currently at 523 consecutive games played. Henrik started his consecutive games played streak Mar. 21/04 vs CBJ. Calgary defenceman Jay Bouwmeester is the only active NHL player to have played more consecutive games at 529 games (through Nov. 30/11). NET GAINS With a shutout, Apr. 7/11 vs MIN, Roberto Luongo moved into 18th all-time and 2nd among active goaltenders in shutouts. He is four shutouts from passing Clint Benedict and John Roach (T-58) to move into 16th all-time. Luongo also is among League leaders all-time in wins. He is currently 21st all-time and 3rd among active goaltenders in wins. He has accomplished the feats under pressure. Only 9 goaltenders (two active) have faced more shots than Luongo's 20,444. Luongo also leads in a number of franchise categories. His 2.36 goals against average is a franchise best among Canucks goalies who have played more than one game. He is third in games played with 344, trailing only Richard Brodeur (377) and Kirk McLean (516) and is second in franchise history in wins with 200, trailing only McLean's 211 wins with Vancouver.

Nashville Predators: Media Notes FOR THE PREDATORS 2011-12 MEDIA GUIDE VISIT: nashvillepredators.com/mediaguide MAN-GAMES LOST DUE TO INJURY: 56 Francis Bouillon is out with a groin injury Blake Geoffrion is out with an upper-body injury STRONG FINISHERS In 24 games this season, the Predators have outscored their opponents 43-37 in the final 40 minutes of play –18-13 (plus 5) in the second period and 25-24 (plus one) in the third. Nashville has scored 25 of its 60 total goals in the third period, that total is good enough for eighth in the NHL. Those goals come despite a shot disadvantage of 499-437 (minus 62) in the final two frames. Away from Bridgestone Arena, the Predators have outscored their opposition 25-22 (plus three) in the final 40 minutes, despite being outshot 294246 (minus 48). Patric Hornqvist and David Legwand lead the Predators with three third-period goals each. Overall, Nashville has been outshot in 18 of its 24 games this season. The Predators are now 9-7-2 when being outshot, the League’s second-most wins in that situation. In the four games where the Predators have outshot their opponent, they hold a 2-0-2 record. POWER-PLAY POINTS The Predators have scored five power-play goals in the last six games, including their second game this season with multiple manadvantage goals on Nov. 19 against Columbus, after being held scoreless on power play in the four previous games from Nov. 9-17. Ryan Suter and Craig Smith lead the way for Nashville with three power-play goals each. Nashville has climbed to 18th in the League in success rate (15.7 percent). The team has been consistent both at home and on the road. The Predators have posted six goals on 37 chances (16.2 percent) at Bridgestone Arena, while the team ranks 15th in the League on the road –posting eight goals on 52 man-advantage opportunities (15.4 percent). LAST TIME OUT: Nashville 0, Calgary 1 at Scotiabank Saddledome • Nashville held its opponent to just one goal for the fourth time this season. • Jerred Smithson won 9-of-11 faceoffs (82 percent). • The Predators were perfect on the penalty-kill for the second straight game. Nashville had allowed seven goals on 19 times shorthanded in the previous five games (Nov. 17-26). • Ryan Suter paced the team with 26:27 minutes of ice time. Suter has led the team in ice time in all but eight contests this season, and ranks third in the League in average ice time (26:51). Defensive partner Shea Weber, who has led the team seven of the other eight times, ranks sixth (26:02). • Weber fired a game-high five shots on goal. It was the fifth time this season he has put at least five shots on goal. QUICK HITS: • Nashville finished November with a 6-5-2 record, topping its record from the same month a year ago when it went 5-6-2. The Predators have posted no worse than a .500 points percentage in the month of December eight times in the last nine seasons, going 85-1 in 2010 and 9-4-2 in 2009. • Nashville has allowed an average of 23.5 shots against in its last two games, after allowing an average of 33 shots against in the previous 22 games. • Shea Weber and Ryan Suter have each posted 13 points –Weber (4g-9a) and Suter (3g-10a) –in Nashville’s last 15 games. • Jordin Tootoo has five points (2g-3a) in the last five games. • Mike Fisher has posted six points (1g-5a) in eight games dating back to Nov. 15 against Washington. • Martin Erat has posted 11 points (5g-6a) in 15 games since returning from injury on Oct. 29. • The Predators are 11-4-3 when they score at least two goals, and are 9-1-2 when holding their opponent to two goals or less. • Pekka Rinne’s 10 wins on the season are tied for eighth among all goaltenders, and he paces all goalies in shots against (681) and saves (631). He ranks third in minutes played (1,251:26). • Jonathon Blum ranks among the League’s Top 10 in blocked shots (56). • In their 11 victories this season, the Predators have received game-winning goals from 10 different players. • The Predators roster boasts five players who cut their teeth in the Western Hockey League –Shea Weber (Kelowna), Martin Erat (Saskatoon/Red Deer), Jerred Smithson (Calgary), Jordin Tootoo (Brandon) and Jonathon Blum (Vancouver). Assistant Coach Lane Lambert played for Saskatoon and coached both Moose Jaw and Prince George. TONIGHT’S STORYLINES VS. VANCOUVER Nashville makes its final trip of the 2011-12 season to the Canadian Pacific Coast tonight. In the last six seasons, the Predators and Canucks have split the season series on Rogers Arena ice. Nashville is 11-12-2 overall against Vancouver since 2005-06. In their first meeting of the year on Oct. 20, the Canucks scored four goals on 16 shots in the opening period. Matt Halischuk tallied the

lone goal for the Predators, tying the game 1-1 at 4:01 of the first period. Anders Lindback saw his first action of the season in relief of Pekka Rinne, stopping 23-of-24 for shots in the final 40 minutes, cutting the final margin to 5-1. A season ago, both teams won twice in four regular season meetings –Vancouver took home a 3-1 victory on March 29 in Nashville, while the Predators dropped the Canucks 3-0 on March 3 behind Rinne’s 19th career shutout and Blake Geoffrion’s first-career gamewinning goal. Neither team could muster a first-period goal in the four games, but Nashville outscored Vancouver 8-6 despite being outshot 132-99. Martin Erat has 12 points (5g-7a) in his last 11 games against the Canucks including his second career hat trick and a career-high four points (tie) on Dec. 8, 2009… Rinne has gone 4-5-0 against the Canucks, but has 2.31 goals-against average and .929 save percentage in those nine career appearances. Jonathon Blum spent four seasons with the WHL’s Vancouver Giants from 2005-09, and ended his junior career as the Giant’s all-time leader in defensive scoring, in addition to ranking third overall on the franchise’s scoring list with 204 points (49g-155a) in 248 regular season games. The Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., native also posted 42 points (14g-28a) in 67 postseason contests, helping the team claim four division titles, two conference titles, a WHL Championship and a Memorial Cup Championship. He was named the 2009 Canadian Hockey League Jack Link’s Defenseman of the Year and captained the Giants to their best season in franchise history in 2008-09. HOMEGROWN TALENT Nashville continues to be a team that prides itself on homegrown talent, as its current roster boasts 16 players who were drafted and developed under the guidance of President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile and his staff after 2008 second-round pick Roman Josi was recalled on Nov. 25 and subsequently made his NHL debut the following night at Detroit. No fewer than 13 Nashville draftees have been in the lineup for a game this season, including the home opener on Oct. 15 vs. Phoenix when all six defensemen were of the homegrown variety. Learning from veterans like Shea Weber, Ryan Suter and Nashville’s first-ever draft selection David Legwand, the younger players are seeing increased roles in 2011-12. Colin Wilson averaged 13:17 a season ago, but is up to 16:58 per game this season; Nick Spaling’s ice time has increased roughly four minutes this season; and Matt Halischuk has gone from 10:07 per game in 2010-11, to nearly 13 minutes in 2011-12. The Predators are also one of the three youngest teams in the NHL with an average age of 26 years, seven months, and currently have five Calder-eligible rookies on the roster –forwards Craig Smith and Blake Geoffrion; defensemen Jonathon Blum amd Josi; and goaltender Anders Lindback. Smith has 17 points (7g-10a) this season, putting him second among all first-year players in the League, while his three power-play markers are tied for the lead among the rookie class and only Gabriel Landeskog of the Colorado Avalanche has totaled more than his 68 shots on goal. The Madison, Wis., native also leads the team in both points and goals (tie). REMEMBERING WADE BELAK The Nashville Predators are honoring former teammate and club employee Wade Belak –who died tragically on August 31 –in several ways throughout the 2011-12. There are two logos being used to remember Belak –a No. 3 logo which is in the bottom left of each players’ helmet –and an internal logo which can be found on the wall of the Predators dressing room and on team apparel. The team also has a firefighter helmet which goes to the player of the game after a win, as selected by the previous player who had it. Belak was a member of the Williamson County (Nashville suburbs) Fire and Rescue Squad. PREDATORS ENTER THE GOLDEN AGE Through an exploration of their existing colors, the Predators set out to create a distinctive home look designed to introduce a redefined identity and tradition. This vision was seen first during the 2011 playoffs as fans wore gold shirts and waved gold towels, truly creating a home ice advantage and a visual identity for the team and Bridgestone Arena. On July 13, 2011, “PREDATORS GOLD” was born through the introduction of the new gold home jerseys. The goal was to develop a powerful long-term brand message by creating a dominant color scheme, one that when seen on the ice, in-arena, on television or on the streets, would immediately identify the Predators, its fans and the environment at Bridgestone Arena. A WINNING CULTURE The Nashville Predators have made the playoffs in six of the last seven seasons, making them one of only six franchises to advance to the playoffs six times since 2003-04 (San Jose, Detroit, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Montreal are the others). Nashville is also one of just four teams (with Detroit, San Jose and Calgary) to reach the 40-win mark in each of the last six seasons, and has amassed the League’s sixth-highest win total since 2005-06.
