From the Secretary, APPSC., Hyderabad Lr.No.509/RR/2015, dated 27-02-2016. -0o0O R D E R: In the G.O. first read above, Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Education Subordinate Service Rules, 2002 were issued governing the service conditions of various categories including that of the posts of Librarians and Physical Directors in the Government Junior Colleges. These rules were subsequently amended from time to time. In the G.O. third read above, the posts of Physical Directors and Librarians in Government Junior Colleges have been conferred with Gazetted Status. The Director of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has therefore requested the Government vide his Letter fifth read above, to delete the posts of Librarian and Physical Director from the Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Education Subordinate Service Rules, 2002. Accordingly, Government have decided to amend the Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Education Subordinate Service Rules, 2002 issued in the G.O. first read above and as amended from time to time. 2.

The following notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette: NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article-309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following Amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Education Subordinate Service Rules, 2002 issued in G.O.Ms.No.79, Higher Education [IE-I] Department, dated 25-112002 and as amended from time to time.

AMENDMENTS

In the said Rules,

In rule 2 Constitution under Class – A, the category (1) Physical Director, Government Junior College; Category (3) Librarian, Government Junior College shall be omitted and Category(2) Statistical Assistant shall be renumbered as Category(1)

In rule 3 in the table thereunder;(i)

In Column (1) under Class-A,(a) Category (1) Physical Director, Government Junior College and the corresponding entries in columns(2) and (3) thereof, shall be omitted. (b) Category (2) Statistical Assistant shall be renumbered as category (1). (c) Category (3) Librarian, Government Junior College and the corresponding entries in columns (2) and (3) thereof, shall be omitted.

The Note 1 and 2 with the proviso thereunder, shall be omitted and the existing Note 3 (a) and (b) shall be renumbered as 1(a) and (b) respectively.

For rule 4 Reservation of appointment the following shall be substituted, namely,-

“4.Reservation of Appointment: The rule of special representation (General Rule 22) shall apply to appointments, by direct recruitment to the posts of Statistical Assistant, Government Junior College, Senior Instructor (Vocational Courses) and the Type Writer Mechanic Vocational Courses in the Junior Colleges provided that no reservation shall be made for Physical Handicapped Persons. The Women Reservation (General Rule 22-A) shall also apply in the matter of Director Recruitment.”

In rule 9, in the table thereunder,(1) In Column (1), under Class-A,(i)

“Category (1) Physical Director, Government Junior College, Category (3) Librarian, Government Junior College shall be omitted.”

(ii)

“Category (2) Statistical Assistant” shall be renumbered as Category (1).

(2) In Column (1), against the entries under CLASS-A and CLASS-B the following entries in column(2) shall be omitted, namely:“Zone-V

comprising Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam Districts.

Zone-VI

comprising Ranga Reddy, Nizamabad, Mahaboobnagar, Medak and Nalgonda Districts.

Zone-VII

Twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

In the Annexure to Rule 5,(1) In column (1), under CLASS-A,(i)

“Category 1.Physical Director/Directresses, Government Junior College, Category (3) Librarian, Government Junior College and the corresponding entries in columns (2) and (3) thereof, shall be omitted.”

(ii)

Category “2.Statistical Assistant” shall be read as “1.Statistical Assistant”.

Note: Any amendments issued to Special Rules to the categories of (1) Physical Director (3) Librarian in Government Junior Colleges shall also be cancelled to the extent of these categories.
