Graduate Application Process University of Minnesota Duluth Department of Music In order to apply for the Master of Music Graduate Degree program at the University of Minnesota Duluth, students must be accepted by both the University of Minnesota’s Graduate Program and the University of Minnesota Duluth’s Department of Music. The application process is listed below.

Apply to the University of Minnesota’s Graduate School

Complete the online University application at: https://www.grad.umn.edu/admissions/applicationinstructions For assistance call the Music Department’s Graduate Program Coordinator at: 218-726-7890. 2. Apply to the Department of Music for a Formal Performance Audition Complete the online Audition Music application by going to the following website: http://sfa.d.umn.edu/departments/music Under “Related Links” select “Graduate Audition Application” and apply online. Audition dates for the 2017-18 academic school year are as follows: January 28, 2017 February 11, 2017 March 25, 2017 Audition requirements are specific to your area of study. At the time of the audition, students must also complete an interview with the Music Department’s Director of Graduate Studies. Students MUST complete the application process for the University and the Department of Music before being considered for admittance to the program. 3.
