Dear High School Parents, The purpose of this letter is to make you aware of a change in policy related to outstanding fee balance your student may have and the impact that it could have on their ability to participate in the graduation ceremony. Effective with the 2016/17 school year, the District will no longer allow students to participate in the graduation ceremony if they (or their guardians) have not satisfied their financial obligations to the School District of Waukesha. To assist you in making arrangements to address any outstanding balance, parents are provided several options for making payments: 1.

A check written out to the School District of Waukesha to be delivered to your student’s school or the District Office located at 222 Maple Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186, whichever is more convenient for you.

2. Use your credit card or checking account to pay your balance via the Infinite Campus (IC) – Parent Portal If you need assistance setting your Infinite Campus ID / password please contact the Infinite Campus Help Desk at [email protected] or by calling 262-970-1072 NOTE: All student fee balances are available for your review via the Parent Portal For families needing assistance in making payments the District does offer the following option: 1. Establish a payment plan with the District by either contacting your school’s secretary or Laurie Dudley at the District Office at 262-970-1046 or [email protected] Payment plans must be established prior to October 15, 2016 which is also the deadline for families to apply for free and reduced lunch. We realize the financial burdens that families encounter. That is why we are providing early notice to allow you to start making your payment arrangements in the hopes of avoiding more difficult conversations later in the school year. The District is willing to provide reasonable assistance to families, who may have unique circumstances, to address their obligations, however to do so we need parents to proactively involve your school’s principal in the discussion.
