ORCHARD, TX—On April 30, at the Sycamore Springs Ranch in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Bucking Bull Games All Star Qualifier 11 featured—for the first time ever—a “Handicap” class, open to all bulls. Below, you will find a refresher on this new and exciting concept. On the next page, see the updated handicaps for all bulls trained by The Jaynes Gang. How the Handicap Class works:  This class is a separate category (just as the Champions and Underdog classes are);  Open to ANY bull (EG-certified, ALL IN-certified, or open);  Bulls can enter just the Handicap class or combine entry with another (Champions or Underdog);  Entry fee is $1,000 with 75 percent payback; bulls that enter multiple classes will have Handicap entry fee  discounted to $800;  Payout will be one (1) place per every five (5) entries;  Bulls will be bucked and scored with all other bulls in the event;  Handicap will be added to judges’ points to determine bull’s total score; handicapped score will only apply to  standings in Handicap class. EXAMPLE: Bull (with handicap of 4) is entered into both Handicap and EG Underdog classes, receives 82.00 points from judges; **Bull’s score in standings for Handicap class: 86.00 **Bull’s score in standings for EG Underdog class: 82.00 How a bull’s Handicap is determined:  Bull must have entered at least three events (BBG, ABBI, UBBI, or other) to receive a handicap;  The best three scores from a bull’s five most recent events are determined and averaged;  Handicap is applied to get that average to 85.00;  Any bull with an average of 85.00 or higher receives no handicap;  Maximum handicap is seven (7.00) points;  Handicap is rounded to nearest quarter-point;  Bull’s handicap updated after each event in which he competes. EXAMPLE: Bull’s five most recent scores are 81.00, 82.50, 79.75, 81.50, 82.00; **Three best are: 82.50, 82.00, 81.50 **Average of those three: 82.00 **Difference between 85.00 and 82.00 = 3.00 **Bull’s Handicap at next event: 3.00 points (continued)
