By this writ application under Article 226 of the Constitution of 

India, the writ applicant has prayed for the following reliefs: “11A) Your Lordships may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any   other   appropriate   writ,   order   or   direction   in   the   nature   of   mandatory   injunction restraining the res. Authorities from interfering with the awful   activities of the petitioner's club of the games namely poker, rummy, etc. in   any manner.  B) Your Lordships may be pleased to direct the res. Authorities to issue   NOC and/or license, permit, etc. if any required under the provisions of   law to organize the said game of the Poker by the petitioner's club.  C) Your  Lordships  may  be   pleased  to  order   that   pending   admission   and/or   final  disposal   of  this   petition,   direct  the   res.   Authorities   not   to   disturb/restrain   the   petitioner's   club   from   peacefully   organizing   and   conducting the skill card games of Poker in the premises of petitioner's club   in any manner.  D) Be pleased to grant such other and further relief/s which may deem   fit and proper in the interest of justice.”
