The Hive as we know it is what we as humans know as Heaven, Angels etc. I kept waiting for the author to upset my Christian values with this premise but she never did. She kept the hive logical and her explanations simple and easy to follow. No offence could be taken via her interpretation of the higher power we Christians call upon daily. Now we have Abbey, Scotty and a hopscotch crew up old and new characters in the hive, waiting for the last bomb to drop. Literally. Armageddon is here and we started a war that nobody can win. Now we have a few loops, twists, turns, and angles not explored hereto, the author has made human depravity obvious but never as obvious as in Hive. The exploitation of the weak in the midst of calamity is ride no reader will forget. But the Hive itself has a few secrets, what are Baby and Echo up to? Who is the man Will and Nettie is conversing with? What is up with the tiger? Is a deity beyond revenge? These questions I hope to have answered in The One asap because I have no doubt that I will read it as soon as it becomes available on Amazon.

This is the fourth book in the Species Intervention series. I still cannot say that I enjoy this series, as it is so dark, but it sure has me hooked! I do love it though! Abby, Scotty, Jose, Echo and Chloe, along with Captain Cobby and his son, Kane, Peter, Ginger Mae, her daughter Daisy and Kenya are thrown together in a race against time to get to the Hive before the terrorists strike. Along the way they meet Johno and the herd of elephants he is transporting to The Bronx Zoo. As the first bomb This is the fourth book in the Species Intervention series. I still cannot say that I enjoy this series, as it is so dark, but it sure has me hooked! I do love it though! Abby, Scotty, Jose, Echo and Chloe, along with Captain Cobby and his son, Kane, Peter, Ginger Mae, her daughter Daisy and Kenya are thrown together in a race against time to get to the Hive before the terrorists strike. Along the way they meet Johno and the herd of elephants he is transporting to The Bronx Zoo. As the first bomb falls, a woman and her grandchildren are caught in the horror. Trying to survive and get to her husband, who is waiting for them, will take all her courage and wits. As I said previously, this is not the most enjoyable of series, but just like an observer watching a disaster unfold right in front of my eyes, I am completely fixated! The story is fast paced, edgy and very topical. This series is completely addictive, and just like a drug addict, I cannot wait for my next fix! There are just so many twists! Just when things are seemingly going along pleasantly (as much as they can in a disaster), the author throws the proverbial spanner in the works and the story spins in a completely different and (darkly) unexpected way! There are some shocking revelations, and more than a few unanswered questions, by the end of the book that have me itching to get hold of the next installment! J.K. Accinni has written an amazing series that shows the darker side of humans that frankly disgusts and shames me. On a personal note: What I would love to do to those characters like Armoni and company would more than likely have me sent to prison, but I would feel no remorse as they would deserve everything they got! I think that even though I'm from the human race, I would side with Baby, Echo and every other alien who decided that they would wipe us off the face of the earth. The things that people do to animals and each other is disgusting and depraved. We, as the human race, need to somehow cure this disease (violence towards animals and each other) that is pervading society It seems to me, the more we progress technologically, the more unattached (emotionally) we have become to nature

and ourselves. Maybe wiping humans out IS the solution! (Sorry, rant over!). Due to the violence and bad language, I do not recommend this book or series to younger readers. However, I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love Science Fiction or Dystopian genres. - Lynn Worton

I have to say this book did get on my nerves more than the others which I loved, hence the different stars, it was still very good but I think there was just too much going on again. I think the loran and Seth storyline really annoyed me. Why is it women in the middle of a disaster pick up a man near the site of a murder and never seem to connect the dots. It's a bit like films where people insist on going outside and get shocked when they get killed!! Also their journey seemed to take months wh I have to say this book did get on my nerves more than the others which I loved, hence the different stars, it was still very good but I think there was just too much going on again. I think the loran and Seth storyline really annoyed me. Why is it women in the middle of a disaster pick up a man near the site of a murder and never seem to connect the dots. Also their journey seemed to take months when surely even in a car and with the back roads from one end of America to another it wouldn't take that long. Some of the characters now they arrive in the hive just seemed to be repeating themselves over and over as well. I think this book tied together Armageddon cometh well, they arrive at the hive and things change. But some things just didn't seem right, like I wrote above. It was a bit too busy I think. Having said that, the book was very good and I would recommend it, it just wasn't as good as the others. But then in a series it is very difficult to keep things going. Very good read and it wouldn't put me off recommending it.

This book is a continuation of the stories were something in the world is going to happen and all Abby knows is that she is on a mission to help save the precious animals. But in all these she has to learn who she can This is the fourth book in the series and my absolute favorite!! There is so much emotions and conflict it gets you involved. It got me to thinking on how i would handle these certain situations and how i would handle it, and it also got me to thinking how much this really is true! This book is a continuation of the stories were something in the world is going to happen and all Abby knows is that she is on a mission to help save the precious animals. But in all these she has to learn who she can trust and not to trust. Qho she can bring with her and not. She cant tell anyone what is going to happen just has to be trusted not even her love Jesse. Then you have Jesse that is trying to find his family and bring them home when the unexpected happens. I could go on and on about this story cause there is no dull moment but dont want to give anything away so i suggest you start reading cause you will not be disappointed! And i hope you fall in love with everyone like i did.

Once again here is another book to add to my favorite list. I am completely loving this series and can't wait for the next book. The plot runs smoothly and I have fallen in love with the characters. I'd love to see this series made into a movie. Abby is strong willed and focuses on her goals no matter what is going on around her. Her love for animals is also a plus.
