Game Play Game Setup: 1. The players will have a moment to view the challenge web page they will attempt to create with HTML TAGs. 2. This Challenge is placed on the center of the board and no player is permitted to look at the solution on the back. 3. The help cards are to be placed in a pile, face down on the board. 4. The chance cards are also to be placed in a pile, face down on the board. 5. The players choose a banker – an unpaid position, who also will distribute the pieces of TAG. 6. The banker distributes $5000 to each player. 7. The players will choose a marker for themselves and place it on the Go square. Game Play: 1. Each player takes one turn rolling the two die to see who rolls the highest score. This person will roll first. 2. Play will continue in a clockwise manner. 3. Once the player has rolled, they will move their marker to the appropriate square. 4. If it is a TAG space, they have the option of purchasing this TAG. – See Purchasing TAG 5. If the space landed on is a Help Square, see Help Locations 6. If the space landed on is a Free Text square a player receives TEXT card. 7. If the space landed on is a Chance square, see Chance Locations 8. If the space landed on is a Free Parking, Go, or Jail squares, a player is able to get up to $200 of free TAGs from the bank. It can either be one single piece, or as many pieces as they can purchase for the $200 amount 9. If the space landed on is JAIL, then the player loses their next turn. During the current and missed turns, they are not allowed to participate in any trades. 10. After the player has taken the appropriate action for the space they landed on, they are able to engage in trading their money, TAG and help cards. – See Trading. 11. After the player has completed trading, the person to the left of player now becomes the current player and repeats processes 3-10. 12. The game is finished when a player wins – See Winning Conditions / Objective, but a player can lose at any point of the game and no longer play – See Losing Conditions. Purchasing TAG: 1. A player is able to buy the TAG that is represented by the square that they land on. Only when a player lands on the FREE PARKING, GO, or JAIL square, are they able to Collect any TAG and in this case, they can only use up to $250 to do so. 2. The player will pay the banker the required amount of money. A player is permitted to purchase up to 3 of the same TAG on a given turn. 3. The player in return will receive from the banker the corresponding number of TAG cards. Help locations: 1. If a player lands on a help square, they will take the help card that is on top of the pile. 2. The player will keep this card in their possession. 3. This card can also be traded to another player. – See Trading

Chance Locations: 1. If a player lands on a chance square, they are to take the chance card that is on top of the pile. 2. The player must do the task that is on the chance card. 3. Once the chance task has been completed, the card is to be returned to the bottom of the pile, face down. Trading: 1. Only the active player is allowed to initiate trades. 2. The remaining players are only permitted to counter trades with the active player and not any of the other players. 3. A player is able to trade any TAG cards, help cards, and/or any amount of money to another player. 4. The active player can make 1 trade per turn. Winning Conditions / Objective 1. The object of the game is to be the first player to come up with a working solution for the problem found on the challenge card. 2. A player is only able to win when it is their turn. 3. If a player believes that they have a correct solution, on their turn, they are able to turn over the challenge card and check their solution. If there are any mistakes, that player loses and is withdrawn from the game – See Losing conditions. If after checking their solution, they must reveal their solution to the other players for inspection. If the other players are able to find a problem, then the player loses and is also withdrawn from the game. Solutions besides the ones on the card are acceptable assuming that it will display correctly. 4. If the player has a correct solution, then they must count up the value of the TAG that they did not use, and subtract that from the total amount of money that they have. Should this result in a negative amount, that player loses and is withdrawn from the game as their solution caused their company to be over budget. Losing Conditions: 1. When a player has been determined to lose, they are automatically withdrawn from the game. 2. If a player uses all of their money and is left with no money, then they are said to have lost. 3. If a player's solution to the challenge problem is incorrect, then they are said to have lost, and the game continues.
