The Hennepin-University Partnership (HUP), located in the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA), supports collaborations between Hennepin County and the University of Minnesota on projects of mutual interest. You will: Gain experience in helping to foster meaning conversations between Hennepin County leaders and UMN experts in the area of DISPARITIES IN COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS Have the opportunity to interface with leaders from Hennepin County’s Community Corrections department. Have the opportunity to network with other graduate students who have similar interests. Be offered a $25 GIFT CARD in appreciation for your help. We are looking for graduate students to be table hosts at our Spring 2018 Mixer on Disparities in Community Corrections. Interested students must be available on the following dates: Friday, February 23 from 10:00am-11:00am for a Table Host Training on UMN West Bank Friday, March 2 from 8:00am-12:00pm for the HUP 2018 Spring Mixer at Wilson Library What’s a Mixer? HUP Mixers are three-hour events structured to help Hennepin County and University of Minnesota faculty connect around an issue of mutual interest. Table hosts at this event are critical for facilitating rich, productive conversation and harvesting the groups’ key ideas that will inform future action. How do I sign up?
