Tips for using this test This assessment requires significant time to complete. It should be worth more points than a standard homework check, and done less often. Student excerpt should take at least 45 to 90 sec to perform, giving grader time to look and listen closely to all details of the performance. Administering Test 1. Determine the weight of each category, and adjust as necessary. 2. During performance, underline criteria that are not completely met, and after performance, check boxes of criteria that have been met. 3. Assign a score, enter the weighted score if necessary, and add up total points. 4. Write in comments that rubric has not addressed. (or “good work, keep it up” etc.) Editing Rubric  Change categories, criteria, and weighting as needed.  If not all of the above categories are needed, right-click to the left of a column to highlight the column, and then delete the column.  Editing categories or font size may allow teacher to put two tests on one page, saving paper.
