Nassau County ICARE Recruitment Session Model to Improve Cardiac Arrest Resuscitation Efforts Nassau Regional EMS Council ICARE’s mission is to increase the number of people who survive cardiac arrests. This will be done through efforts in the prehospital setting. ICARE’s plan is to utilize county, town and community organizations by: 1. Empowering each to implement specific key interventions 2. Coordinating these efforts into one seamless system 3. Implementing measures to ensure both short and long term success of the program Programs similar to ICARE have been instituted with great success in several locations across the country. With the hard work of dedicated volunteers we hope that ICARE will help save lives in Nassau County. This program’s size and scope will be one of the largest efforts of its kind in US history!
Join the ICARE Team The ICARE team is recruiting additional members. We are looking for passionate, hard working, intelligent individuals who are willing to volunteer their time for this cause! Candidates are expected to participate 5 hours/week. Some of the teams available to join, include: ●
