The Manila Teachers' Savings and Loan Association Inc. (M TS Search for Li rang Guro at Pambansang Ulirang Guro. The Search aims to single out teachers who have exerted special herculean efforts in educating the Filipino youth.

The teachers from both public elementary and secondary schools may join the gional and National Search. The following are the expected qualifications for a nominees: 1 2

Must be a Filipino citizen; Must have an average Performance rating of Very Satisfactory for t S three years; 3. Must not be on leave during the period of his/her nomination; 4. Must be of unquestionable integrity; 5. Must not have been suspended or sanctioned for violation of administrative policies, rules and regulations, 6. Must have no pending criminal, civil or administrative case; 7. Must not be a spouse or first-degree relative of officers and employees of.Manila Teachers; and 8. Must not have been conferred the Outstanding Teacher Award in the National Level for the past five years by any award-giving body (government organizations and nongovernment organizations.

The school principal/head endorses the accomplished nomination form, written essay, and audio-video presentation, and other required documents of the nominee to the schools division superintendent (SDS) on or before July 31, 2017. The SDS selects and endorses the division nominee to the regional director (RD) on or before August 31, 201 7. The RD chooses the best from among those endorsed by the SDSs and endorses to the National Board of Judges on or before September 30, 2017. The National Board of Judges chooses the Ulirang Guro for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao among the regional winners on or before November 30, 2017 The Ulirang Gurc winners for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao qualify to the Search for 2017 Parnbansang U7irang Guro. ABOUT THE SEARCH: MANILA TEACHERS' seeks to give honour and special recognition to teachers who have manifested the values of hard work, dedication, sacrifice, commitment and perseverance in order to exemplify that teaching is a vocation not just a profession that can transform lives.

The search aims to single out teachers who have exerted special admirable and herculean efforts in order to teach and educate the Filipino youth. It is not so much about his/her competency but rather the sacrifices and the perils he/she has to face endure and conquer as a teacher. B.

WHO MAY JOIN:

1. Teachers teaching in the public elementary and secondary schools in the country 2. Teachers holding regular permanent appointment 3. Teachers teaching for the last five (5) years C.

D. HOW TOJOIN: 1. The nominee must properly accomplish the nomination form 2. The nominee must submit an essay of at least 500 words on the sacrifices and the perils he/she has faced, endured and conquered as a teacher and how he/she has improved the lives of his/her pupils/students.

3. The nomination form, essay, audio-video presentation and other required documents, must be submitted to the School Principal for endorsement to the Schools Division Superintendents who in turn will select the best nominee and endorse to the Regional Director. 4. One (1) Regional Winner will be chosen by the Regional Director. 5. The UI/rang Guro for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be selected from among the regional winners by the National Board of Judges. F. THE SEARCH PROCESS FOR ULIRANG GURO:

1.
