INFOPACK Youth Exchange CulturArt, Pompei, Italy, 15th-22nd March 2016

SUMMARY The project CulturArt combating youth unemployment is a multilateral exchange including 36 youngsters from Italy, Bulgaria. Estonia, Lativa, Romania and Macedonia. The project will be implemented in POMPEI, ITALY from 1th until 8th of April 2016. The idea of our project is the result of the reality that we as groups of young people and students face every day- apathy of young people, the lack of alternative, youth unemployment. We want to show our peers that there is an alternative. So we start with art, culture, crafts and youth unemployment as the main themes of our youth exchange called "CulturArt combating unemployment. The main aims of the exchange are : -to encourage participants to develop their talents in the field of art and culture -to show them different alternatives to fight the youth unemployment -to encourage intercultural dialogue -to develop young people`s knowledge, skills and competences The youth exchange is entirely based on non-formal formal methodology and includes a variety of methods. The participants will have the chance to learn about arts and crafts, and culture from different countries, develop their knowledge, skills and competences, become more tolerant, open and aware of their own and other cultures. The participants will have different discussions, presentation, forum theater, meeting with local entrepreneurs in the field of art. The participants will also acquire knowledge and practical skills for traditional art and crafts from Italy. The participants will also organize an open bazar to show the local community what they have created. The participants will also create a video and a newspaper out of the project.

Dates: 15th-22nd March 2016 15th is arrival day-Please, try to arrive between 12 at noon and 5pm latest. Dinner and welcome gathering is planned 22nd –Please try to leave after 10am . Breakfast is planned

VENUE Hotel will be “Bosco de’ medici” in Pompei: Hotel vicolo S.Abbondio 12 & Agriturismo Via Antonio Segni 43.

Participants will be accommodated in triple rooms with people from same sex but ddifferent country to stimulate intercultural dialogue. WiFi internet connection will be supplied (however, may have poor connection in some areas). SMLC 2015 will provide participants with three meals per day and two coffee breaks. We strongly recommend each participant to inform the ORGANIZERS about any special dietary needs in advance.

Participant profile -Young people between 18 and 25 years old and no age limit for the leader of the group (5 participants +1 leader = 6 in total) -Highly motivated to take part showing great interest in the topic - youth who long time can not find a job - less-skilled; - have not had access to lots of information and opportunities for mobility -interesting in developing skills and knowledge in art field -we will give priority to people dealing with geographical obstacles including young people coming from rural areas that are not easily reachable and which are not providing many opportunities for development.

Travel costs Participants’ travel costs from their home city to Pompei, Italy will be reimbursed based on actual expenses according to two criteria: Distance from home town to Pompei (please use the official E+ calculator to establish the distance http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmusplus/tools/distance_en.htm (Please note that the distance is calculated one-way, but the reimbursement amounts are for return travel); We kindly ask all participants to take the most environmentally friendly and cost effective alternative available. Travel Reimbursement Rules: 1) Note: Reimbursement of travel costs will only be done upon presentation of all (including return tickets) original tickets, receipt/invoices and boarding passes. This means that once home after the training, participants will be asked to send the originals of all return documents and boarding passes. Please remember to bring the original invoices – there will be no reimbursement without the original invoices and tickets with indicated Names of travellers, description of the journey, indication of cost and currency and date of travel.

2) Note: Tickets/invoices in languages other than English have to be translated by participants (key info only: date, venue, route, issuing agent/. 3) Note: Reimbursement will be done in EUR, regardless of the currency indicated on the ticket and receipt/invoice. Any tickets purchased in a local currency other than EUR, will then be converted and calculated according to the exchange rate of the month when the grant agreement for this project was signed by the NA, as stated in the official European Commission web-site at http://ec.europa.eu/budget/inforeuro/index.cfm?Language=en 4) Note: Please check the travel budget limits at the end of this document. If travel costs exceed the amount budgeted in the project, the organisers will only be able to reimburse participants the actual travel costs up to the limit calculated by distance. Participants are therefore strongly advised to book trip travel well in advance. 5) Note: Please send copies (scans) of all tickets and invoices and email them to [email protected] before attending the event. This will be very helpful for the organisers to

begin processing the financial and reimbursement data so that all payments may be made as efficiently as possible. 6) Note: All participants will be required to complete the Erasmus+ Mobility Tool evaluation form for this course in order to receive the travel reimbursement. ! Participation fee Participation fee of 25 euro will be deducted from each participant from the travel costs for ensuring better quality of the project, dissemination of results and small local trips.

Health insurance Health insurance is not provided and will not be reimbursed by the organisers. All participants are strongly advised to purchase private travel insurance or/and to have a valid EUROPEAN INSURANCE CARD.

Weather Generally the weather in Naples in March is good enough. Alternate sunny days to rainy days , but the temperature is almost always stable at 17 degrees
