INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE “ERASMUSIC+” 20.11-28.11.2016 PORONIN, POLAND INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS YOUTH EXCHANGE: Description: The project associates 36 people who come from Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia, Greece and Lithuania. The project participants will be young people interested in music and the expansion of knowledge on this subject, both in terms of its style and history and the possibility of its use as a tool in youth work. The subject of exchanges will be music and its impact on a daily life. Through our actions we will explore the role of music in our lives. A wide range of activities related to music will encourage all participants to show up during the workshops through sharing his/her passion and music preferences and will have the opportunity to get to know other styles and variations of music. Music will also help us to attract participants' attention to the culture of the countries participating in the project. We want to show people involved in the project that music can be a great tool for expressing ideas and emotions. One of the major objectives of the exchange is to encourage participants to be active in their local communities and the international environment, and also promote the development of civil society. Using informal methods of education, peer education and music, which is present in everyone's life will be an ideal tool of integration. Experience gained during the project will be disseminate by participants and utilize taking local action. Our project will be also an excellent opportunity to expand knowledge about the culture and customs of other countries and will help to build an attitude of tolerance. At the end of our actions we will create a strong network of contacts for support and further cooperation between our organizations which translates directly not only to the quantity but also the quality of the planned joint projects in the future.

TIME: Arrival: 20th of November 2016 Departure: 28th of November 2016 THE VENUE: Ośrodek Gastronomiczno-Wypoczynkowy BACA Poronin, Poland Website: http://www.baca.poronin.pl/ Address: Tatrzańska 5F. 34-520 Poronin You will be accommodated in a hotel, sharing a 2, 3 or 4 bed . The canteen and working rooms are within 50m. There is WiFi (usually  ), hot water and everything you might need this week! Please, bring your own towels! TRANSPORT TO CRACOW: Poronin is a village just next to Zakopane, polish winter capitol. If you are coming by plane the nearest airport is in Kraków, Balice. Later you take the bus to Zakopane/Poronin, it costs about 15/30 zł (4/8 EU) If you want to contact me in Poland please call +48 886 579 596, I can help you with the details, including talking to the bus drivers    ! Pease notify us about arrival/departure times to arrange meals and accommodation. If possible please come before 8 pm, later we might provide you only cold snacks as the restaurant might be closed!

WEATHER: In November in Polish mountains we can expect temperature from -5°C up to +15°C, also it may rain or snow. Therefore, please take into consideration rainy/sunny weather and bring appropriate cloth. It’s best if you check right before the project what the weather is going to be like. We’ll be also trekking in the mountains so please take sturdy shoes appropriate for mountain trips. PREPARATION: During the course we will organise Intercultural Evenings, therefore please be ready to present your country and bring some materials, drinks, and snacks. Just bring a few. Or more than few 
