11 Years …..and still going strong Dear MESMS Parents and Guardians: Please  come  and  be  part  of  our  cultural  celebration,  INTERNATIONAL  NIGHT  2015  and  share  the  traditions  and  heritage of countries throughout the world. This event brings students and families from many different backgrounds  together to encourage diversity, tolerance and respect, representing the values of our National School of Character.  We thank the PTA for supporting us with a generous grant each year.

Food Donations: Receive One free ticket  Your donation of a favorite ethnic or family entrée will ensure the success of the evening.  Do you enjoy a variety of  multicultural food? We plan to offer an elaborate buffet of dishes, including French, Italian, Spanish, Irish, Indian,  Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Greek and Middle Eastern foods and much more! You will receive one free ticket for  each full­sized entrée that you donate.  Food served at the event must follow the nutrition guidelines outlined in the  wellness policy on the YCSD website.

Student Performances  This is the highlight of the evening! Does your child play an instrument, sing, or dance? In the past, our performances  have consisted of Indian dances, Irish step dancing, Caribbean music, Hawaiian dancing, vocal pieces and  instrumentals representing many countries.  ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE. NO­ONE ATTENDS WITHOUT A TICKET

Food Suggestions **Please be aware that NO peanuts or peanut based products such as oils are allowed in the  preparation of the meals. **RECIPE CARDS LISTING THE NAME OF THE ITEM AND ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS USED IN  PREPARATION OF THE MEAL, MUST BE PROVIDED WHEN YOU BRING IT TO SCHOOL ON THE  DAY OF THE EVENT.
