Abstract(of(recent(Interviews(done(with(Shri.(Abin(Jose(Tom( (CEO,(Webandcrafts,(Infopark,(Thrissur)( by(TV,(Radio(and(Print(Media(Channels.( ( Q: Your full name? A: Abin Jose Tom Q: Age? A: Just completed 23 in August 2013. Q: Tell us about your family and Place. I have my Grandpa, Papa, Mamma, one brother and a sister in my house. I am the eldest of the three. My father Tomy Joseph is a farmer in his 50s doing Rubber business also along with. My mother Jessy is a house wife. My brother Bibin Dominic is pursuing his degree in animation technology. My sister Ann Maria is a High School Student. My grandfather Joseph is 80 now. Still, he is healthy enough to continue his regular field works. My house is in a remote village, called Chengalam (East), in Kottayam District in central Kerala. Most of the residents there are agriculturists, owning a land property of 2-5 acres. Rubber is the main cash crop in our village. Chengalam is a religiously harmonious village. Q: What do you grow in your land? A: We have around five acres of land. Our style of agriculture is multiple farming. We grow mainly Rubber, Tapioca, Meg nut, Pepper, Plantain, etc. Q: What is your academic qualification? A: B Tech incomplete. Q: Do you plan to clear the arrears? A: I have chosen a career for life. Now my enthusiasm is limited to study and research connected to web engineering and associated topics only. However, I have completed the course but a final decision on arrears is not yet taken. Q: What do you mean by associated topics? A: Web engineering is not the only thing I mean to establish in. Always I look out for more challenging and promising activities within my reach and befitting to the resources I have. Right now we are developing an ERP software intended to make online money transactions easy and possible to all at very low cost. Q: What is your secret of success? A: HQ? Q: What is HQ? A: Honesty and Quality. Honesty: 1)

Honesty to the Nation - keeping all accounts clear and straight, observing all the rules

and regulations set etc.

2)

Honesty to the Society - supporting social service organizations and charity

movements. Presently we have extended an offer of free hosting and website design support to all the social service organizations in the State. 3)

Honesty to the Company -all woks oriented to a thorough growth for the company.

4)

Honesty in service - prompt delivery of services at reasonable prices.

5)

Honesty to oneself -dedication to the career we have chosen.

1)

Quality in products - all products with advanced features.

2)

Quality in dealings - customer satisfaction in all respects, at every stage.

Quality:

We have learnt that the more we are sincere in these precepts the more Grace we have. Q: Did you ever visualize such a surprising growth? A: Once we decide to DIE appropriately, nothing is impossible. DIE means, Dream Intend and Experience. My dream is clear to all minute details; my intention is to reach nothing less than what I dream and I live in that experience of having reached the target. Q: How was your early life? A: I don’t think that I was different from others of my age at any stage in my School life. My mischief began with my craze for stamp and coin collection. It was through that I learnt how anxious others are to help an earnestly enthusiastic another. Here, I also learned to make best use of chances and opportunities. In School level competitions I could win many prizes and awards in Stamp and coin collections. These achievements had given me a star rank in my School. My passion for computer related activities began in my High School life. It was very difficult to successfully manage this transition because I belonged to a conservative Christian family of agriculturists with no notable technically skilled experts, closely related. However, my Papa was kind enough to risk one desktop for me. At that time, the scope of a computer for me was limited to writing CDs, playing music and printing this and that. Slowly, I learned that computer technology is not a simple thing as I assumed it to be. By God’s grace, the timely support I got from friends and seniors made all the difference in my life. I also slowly understood that agriculture is not the career I am destined to. Q: What sort of support did you require and wherefrom did you get it from? A: In my early days, I was not at all a quality computer user. Therefore, my computer always required repairing including occasional formatting. It is here that an engineer friend, whom I knew early, came to my help. His name is Shri. Jose P Kurian. He is presently working in SMR Kanjirappally. It was from him that I learned the technical basics of computer hardware. I used to disturb him day and night. Slowly, I learned to do repairing and installations for myself. Then came in Shri. Nikhil Mathew (presently mobile applications developer, working in USA), a very enthusiastic software engineer from my own place. It was he who fixed me in the right direction. I enjoyed his expertise in solving all complex software problems that I came across. He was the one who helped me to procure an admission in SA Engineering College Chennai. There, he was my local guardian too. Without him I

would not have come to this stage. Always his practical advises were quite advantageous. In between I got another friend, Shri. Mithun Mathew from Chengalam, who was then a computer engineering student. It was always he who filled up the gaps others left. Mithun also is a friend with a vision. I cannot also forget my instructors at Computer House, Kanjirappally. The information and practical work experience gained from them also contributed greatly to my growth. They helped me remain always updated. Q: What was your future dream, an office career, research or business? A: Establishing a unique business of super special nature was my dream too. My preference was something which utilizes my skill and enthusiasm in advanced technologies. Q: How could you reach that, so fast? A: This is a strange story of a miracle that only a powerful mentor could do, a story that says what motivation is. While I was in my School days, I was attracted to one of my great Uncles, Shri. Joseph Mattappally, who was living nearby and doing successful research in wireless equipment development. He is a licensed Ham who homebrewed for himself a compact portable shortwave battery operated transceiver in 1990. He got the ‘Ham of the Year’ Award in 1992. He is also the co- founder of Hamfest India, the only annual national get together of Hams in India. Now he is president of Viswa Shanti International Mission and Director of Indian Thoughts, the most subscribed international online moral education service. It was from my friend Nikhil that I learnt about his potentials and how he had motivated Nikhil himself, while a School student. I began visiting him frequently. Interactions with him were mostly centered on positive thinking and utilization of inherent talents. I have attended his individuality development classes and also taken Reiki first degree from him. Without him I would not have dared to undertake the risk of trying Infopark with hardly five machines and just that money which I required to pay in the Infopark office. It was he who helped me to develop my website aspirations. He gifted me the necessary server space to play with, in the beginning. He is a popular social worker, a motivational instructor, a Reiki Master and a profound writer. I am proud to say that he is still the mentor of Webandcrafts. Our very name and logo also were suggested by him. Somebody identifying the fire within is great. Shri Joseph Mattappally arranged to get me a software business license from the local Panchayat and also prepared a work station for me, in the upper floor of his own house. That time I was only 19 and was away at Chennai. He managed everything on my behalf. Q: How could you strive through all adverse factors? A: It is here that I should thank my friends, Clint, Bharath and Vinod once again. They also had accompanied me quite prepared to take up the risk and ready to meet the challenges. Work offers from my prime clients were also encouraging. Q: Didn’t you know that you cannot run a business from such a distance? A: Quite an apt question. I dared to do this for two reasons. First I had learnt to trust the opportunities available and next I was aware about the quantity of risks involved in remarkable success stories. I had developed enough self-confidence at that time. I took it as a chance to

communicate with the Universe regarding what I actually mean in my life. Perhaps that could be the reason for the differences I could create later. Q: Did you think that you could ever establish into such a flourishing enterprise? A: With my close friends Clint Antony and Soji Jose, who had joined the undertaking, I was sure that I won’t fall. Shri Jobi of Nexus Infotech Kochi, a software programmer, also had assured his support in resolving serious issues. I met Clint Antony at Chennai. He was doing graphic designs for extra money during his course there. It was actually his superb designs that made the real difference in our growth. He definitely is a very talented guy who is yet to explore his potentials. The main projects worked at our first work place were mainly a news portal for an online E paper from Gulf and unique websites for Indian Thoughts and Navasrushti International Trust. It was Swami Sachidananda Bharathi of Dharma Bharathi Ashram who gave us the first order for a website. He is an acquaintance of our mentor. Q: Why did you wound up the work there at Elamgulam? A: Webandcrafts functioned only hardly six months there at Elamgulam. The main reason was that I could not comfortably manage it from Chennai. Another reason was that I got a great work at Chennai itself. My own college had given me an opportunity to work a new website for it. It was really a turning point. I could experiment with new strategies and advanced features. Though with great difficulties, I could launch it successfully in time. This success truly generated much confidence in my own capacity. By this time, I had rented a separate house where my working staff could stay and work. As more orders came in, two of my colleagues also joined me, Shri. Bharath and Shri. Vinod. Bharath handled mostly site texts and Vinod did developing and programming. Their support was very instrumental in the growth of Webandcrafts and they also continue to be integral part of the firm even now. Q: How much could you earn from your business there? A: Not too much. The income was not at all sufficient to meet the expenses involved. It was here that the timely financial support from my Papa became very crucial. There was times when he had to help me with difficulty. However, he was sure that this is the career I have chosen. Somehow, it was from Chennai that I could create a good team of customers and clients. Q: Why didn’t you continue there at Chennai itself? A: To be true to myself, I had a passion for my homeland and friends there in Kerala. I knew that establishing a similar company in an unknown place, with sever competitors around, is not that easy. I did not also like my energy being spoiled there on irrelevant areas like existential issues. Q: How did you dare to choose a Govt. owned IT Hub? A: Once I completed the course, though with arrears, my original plan was to find a work place somewhere in a web-conscious city, preferably Ernakulam. On the way I came across the fancies and facilities of organized software parks under the State Government. But the initial expenses and formalities involved originally discouraged me. It was Shri Joseph Mattappally, who again came to my help. He called his friend Shri Girish Babu, CEO of Technopark Trivandrum and presented my case. His timely intervention made the path short and I could get a small space in the prestigious info park. It was their Conference Hall that they allotted me.

Q: What brought you to Thrissur, to be precise to Infopark-Thrissur (Why did you choose Infopark to set up your new office) and how do you look at this location for your future operations? An: I had a dream to set up my company in a location which has a rich ambience for enhancing our growth and wished to provide my employees with ample resources dwelling themselves the zeal to work to produce elite results. Q: Kerala always carries a bag tag ‘NOT INVESTMENT FRIENDLY’ (frequent hartal) and did your perception change over the years and how do you differentiate Kerala from other states, in terms of IT growth? An: Kerala as we know is Gods own country and has been a great place for me and my team to work except the factor of frequent harthals which is one major hindrance for the smooth flow as it effects all the Plot and Plan which we strategize in accomplishing our tasks. I personally assume these harthals has got a role in dwelling a negative feel to the IT growth in Kerala compared to the other states. Q: Please give me a brief account on your company and its operations? An: Webandcrafts is a team of young, dynamic and smart working professionals, who have provided our clientele, a new definition in the field of web, by delivering aesthetic and classy web solutions. We are an absolute package for those looking to be distinct from the rest, as the work done by us is not only unique but also globally competitive. We believe in creating followers than tracing the path left by others, which we depict in each service we deliver. We offer to deliver solutions to all kind of web problems be it designing, developing, internet marketing; hosting etc, Webandcrafts is the name which one can rely on. Q: A business of this status definitely requires much expertise and experience. How could you manage all these? A: True, it was not at all easy as I myself had assumed. I had confidence in my friends and the mentor. Shri Joseph, Nikhil and Mithun were always with me to resolve all daily issues that cropped up. They all loved me without any hindrances. They were always updated with all developments at the station and that helped them forward practical suggestions. But, every time the decisions were mine, because I knew that it is me who is responsible for everything. My friends and the mentor also never insisted on anything. They were all helping me to grow for myself. My mentor had taught me the trick of choosing the most luminous track. I always had a feeling that every time everywhere I am helped. My experiments with positive thinking and trust with no specks of doubt in it helped me a lot. I clearly understood that I have the right to dream whatever I please. I have realized that the Universe knows the language of abundance only and it showers its grace to all those who experiences it. So, living in that experience of trust also is important in my life. Q: How long you have been here in Info Park and how far Info Park and the infrastructure facilities provided here have helped the growth of your company? An: I have completed one year of success journey by the end of this August in Info Park. I would like to strategize my life at Info Park in three phases

Past: Info Park had been of elite help by aiding me with ample support and motivation without which my dreams would have remained in the darkness and would have never blossomed Present: At present we are on the stage of expanding but unfortunately we are not helped with sufficient space and is affecting our growth to a great extend Future: I believe my future will be supremely prosperous as the current issue pertaining to the limited space will be solved with the emerging of the 2nd phase of Info Park Q:

How do you look at your company’s growth having set up your operations here in

Infopark-Thrissur? An: I believe it’s a tough ask for a startup company to attain heights without a prestigious banner even though they possess elite quality. Fortunately Webandcrafts entry to this privileged park turned out to be a blessing in disguise for us as the quality along with the brand name of Info Park has played a pivotal role in our growth and in the future years it’s going to even play bigger with the emergence of the new phase of Info Park Q: Do you believe in God? Are you a religious man? A: I believe in God but not in any exclusive religion. I’m a Christian and I honour Jesus as a Sadguru who is always with me in pain and pleasure alike. This does not at all mean that any other religion is obsolete for me. I have understood that gratitude is the best expression of prayer and perhaps it is the only linking element that connects us with the Super Conscious. Q: You say that belief in God is necessary to attain material prosperity? A: No, but having a good understanding of oneself is necessary to lead a successful life. Once you know that each one is integral part of the Universe and every being is one with everyone, our only option becomes loving every creation. We reap what we sow. What we do in real life determines our worth for higher ranges. If we are always honest, the Universe also remains honest. Whenever we apply tricks, we can expect one from the Universe also, mostly at the most unexpected situation through a never expected direction. It also is very important that we do not struggle for money or position. The more we struggle for something the more it hides from our life. Q: How do you handle the so called problems in business? A: I personally don’t like to class a situation into a problem. It is just another situation only. There is no situation that hasn’t an emergency door for us to escape. Being positive means having positivity all the 24 hours. Without challenges, nothing grows. A life without risks is dead. I know that every situation appears with a fresh opening. Our duty is to sort it out. Every time I’m confused, I leave a space before the final decision. In between, I take up the opinions and suggestions of my regular friends and the mentor. I have not so far taken a wrong decision. I have the mindset to wait for the result, with infinite patience. Infinite patience because I don’t set a time for the manifestation of anything I intend. I leave it to the Universe. I owe greatly for all the philosophies I practice in my life. Q: Give me an example of a sample situation of challenge and tell me how you managed it? A: During the early days of Webandcrafts, I came to know that SMR, a giant industrial company in Kerala is on the lookout for a better emblem and a logo. I decided to give a try but all our designs were rejected. After a break, we again began our experiments with their vision. It took a year for us

to win the game. It was a turning point in our life. As they began placing design requests on a weekly basis, for their various products and departments, we had to dress ourselves accordingly. It helped us to address other major companies comfortably. Almost same is the case with Thomson group too. It was after many attempts that we could give them a design they liked. Both of them are now very esteemed clients of Webandcrafts. I think, it could be these people who envisioned my success much more than I myself. Slowly, they became more than formal well wishers and now they are among the very few whom I honour in my bosom. Q:

Your company started with how many employees and what is the strength now and

what are your expansion plans? An: I set up my company with just one employee Mr. Clint Antony who in short can be described as a talent blessed with a divine touch of Elegance. He is our creative head who encrypts his mark with a unique style of creation and designing trending a new “Look and Feel” in whatever his fingers caresses through. Present: Right now I have 15 persons working for the company; 12 in the work place and three on contracts. I say that they are reasonably paid and are free in their respective areas. We have a common staff quarter, where we all, except three, live together. At home there is no CEO or area manager. Occasionally we go for outings, don’t miss big screens too. We quarrel together, live together and grow together. But everyone loves the company and respects each other. It creates a positive work friendly environment. It is reflected on all our products. Future: I have a big dream; grow the company to such a profile at where it could feed all energetic and enthusiastic guys around. Q: What is the whole export rate of your company as well as the projected export? An: At this phase of my career I wish to cement a strong foundation for our company and then gradually accomplish the expansions process with a perfect formula to explore the ample space available in this field hence have limited myself from the exporting segments. 08. How far Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) helping young entrepreneurs in setting up IT firms? An: Instead of commenting as a whole I assume it would be wise to analyze my case as an example of a young entrepreneur. According to me these parks have played a vital role in realizing my dreams as from the phase of commencement of our organization we were offered with supreme resources and dedicated services to aid us a rich ambience. Q: As far as your company is concerned, how far the government and its IT policies help the growth of IT here in Kerala and at the same time the kind support you expect from the Govt.of Kerala to promote the IT industry? An: As we are new in this field and operate as a startup we strictly adhere to the policies which are set by the government and its IT policies even though me yet to explore these terms and policies in depth. Q: Where are you clients located?

An: We have clients all across the globe that are extremely blissful with our supreme services as we treat each of our clients exclusively pertaining to each ones requirement. The quality adhered with Webandcrafts has gained the trust of people helping our name to spread global. Q: How do you look at Kerala in terms of qualified IT employees and how many Keralities are currently working with your company? An: Kerala is immensely fertile with highly talented IT people who have proven their skills over the years and for the rest who are yet to explore their talents this is the precise time for one to prove their worth to the world. Of the fifteen working for the company, twelve are from Kerala and three persons are from Tamil Nadu. Q: What is your attitude towards the staff and other workers in the Company? A: Right now I have 15 persons working for the company; 12 in the work place and three on contracts. I say that they are reasonably paid and are free in their respective areas. We have a common staff quarters, where we all, except three, live together. At home there is no CEO or area manager. Occasionally we go for outings, don’t miss big screens too. We quarrel together, live together and grow together. But everyone loves the company and respects each other. It creates a positive work friendly environment. It is reflected on all our products. Our focus is on improved quality on a day by day basis. I don’t manage anyone. They follow the examples I set there. All our workers are young energetic bachelors and the team includes previous staff from Infosys and Wipro. Every week we do review meetings. Recently, I have decided to find some space for stress management and individuality development classes too. Q: Have you got any particular discipline codes in the Office? A: Discipline is good for the growth of an individual and the company as a whole. I haven’t gone through popular codes of discipline in other companies for the simple reason that I don’t like anybody put in chains of some sort. I don’t think that my company will ever require strict codes of disciplines just like that required in the life of a spiritual aspirant or an army man. Let discipline in thought, word and action come from within each one. Q: Have you ever been angry to your staff? A: Getting fast charged is part of my personality. But I have never done it with a purpose of humiliating any. I know repressing anger is equally harmful like uncontrolled expression of it. However, I don’t carry any emotional wounds beyond a few hours. I am particular in appreciating them at notable performances. Q: How is your working time arrangement? A: Our working schedule is 9 AM to 5.30 with lunch break and Tea time. I don’t recommend overtime work for two reasons. First it reduces product quality and next it only shows our inefficiency to manage things within a time frame. Q: What about your competitors? We never compete with anybody else; we compete with our own records. Why should we spoil our energy comparing with others? My intention is not running over another. Actually my wish is that everybody strives in their corresponding areas.

Q: I appreciate your determination and Will power A: I regret to say that I don’t possess so peculiar a power as you have attributed. Determination, as I understand it is a process of striving to reach an intended goal. I love to flow with Nature and its’ Provisions. It is much easier than struggling to shape all situations logically pleasing to the limited individual intelligence we have. Q: Have you ever thought that you are different from any one working in your company? A: Definitely. I know that I’m the tallest in physical size. The fact is that many times, I have wished if some qualities in them be mine. Q: What is your opinion about the present prevailing system of education? A: Actually, the present system of education is styled not in a way that helps to exploit individual thirst for right knowledge but styled to fit in social aspirations for power and status. Real education is that which helps one to realize oneself, own innate aptitudes and talents. It is not intellectual strength that we require most. According to the present structure of education, we get some lessons by heart and vomit them before the examiner. We have professionals in paper but not qualified in practice. Q: Would you like to share an experience in this regard that touched you? A: The very CVs and profiles we receive here are testimonies. Only very few have learnt the art of presenting themselves in attractive formats. Q: What do you propose for an alternative? Q: At least one year of compulsory training in any Finishing School, before awarding professional degrees. Q: There is much philosophy in your answers. A: These all are very preliminary things that I have learnt from my mentor and friends, mostly Nikhil and Mithun. I think that I have just enough of what I actually need, nothing more. Q: How was the support from your family? A: As I told you before I hail from a family of agriculturists, not so poor or not so rich. My parents are not knowledgeable persons with regard to computer and company business. But it is the freedom they let me have and the timely financial support they gave me that helped me grow up to this. I know that they had to struggle in many situations especially when Papa’s business was at risks and agricultural products were not that rewarding. After the inauguration of the company, I did not require any money from them. Q: You say that you did not get any motivation from them? A: No, they were the first to encourage and appreciate me in all my gains. That was the best of motivations I ever received. But the one who forced me to set the highest of goals is my young brother. By the time he completed his plus two, he had become the highest beneficiary of Google ad service in the district. He earned more than what he actually required. He could buy a SUV, a top brand Bike, a High-end SLR camera, an advanced Mac Station and peripherals etc. from his own earnings. In my inner self I truly yearned to become a better earner. Q: How do you handle your clients? Are you taking them into absolute confidence?

A: Our approach and attitude to our customers, I admit, is different. As of now, our customers are mostly high profile. Our focus is not on collecting the full estimate amount in advance. But in most cases, where high initial investments are required, we are compelled to ask for support. Usually we begin our work after a thorough understanding of client requirements, studying the changing market trends and evaluating future possibilities. We discuss the details with the client before virtually beginning the work. We have no hesitation in taking their suggestions and opinions and modifying the product accordingly. We consider each project a masterpiece. Q: Anything special in customer relationships? A: Yes, I attend all the customers without considering the profit factor. That sincerity I showed in customer relationships truly was paying. Most of my acquaintances are more than friends to me. It was from some of my great clients that I learned about the keys in Business management. Many times they appeared to be more particular in seeing me grow. Q: How do you decide the quality of a product, any quality control mechanism? A: We, Team Webandcrafts is the quality control mechanism here. The layout is discussed among all of us and the final presentation is reviewed many times. In some occasions, we invite comments from our own friends from outside too. However, at least a day before the proposed date, the work will be completed. Q: You say that you take in only orders that you can do? A: Sure. As of now, there is heavy pressure from our new clients. We take in only just what we can do. With regards to orders we give also, same is our attitude. We ask for only what we can afford. Every payment we make is strictly in time. Q: How do you price your products? A: We don’t mind even if they are the highest in the market. Web designing and hosting is not the only work we do. Nothing is that simple as generally customers see it. For example, when it comes to developing a promising website, just creating a banner, booking a domain and having a password won’t serve the purpose. A site is a longtime tool and it should be competent to survive all the latest possible technical challenges. We help our customers in choosing a catching domain name, having a client friendly design that fits the type of service and fix search engine friendly tags and links, present their product in an appropriate format that is accessible in all sorts of distinct browsers, add light weight pages for easy opening, and give the most advanced 99% hack proof blade servers for hosting. At every point, extra labor and money is involved. Most of our customers know it and they have no difficulty in acknowledging the difference. Q: Do you get any support from Infopark officials and Government Agencies? A: Their role in individual growth of a company is limited. In my case, I have great pleasure to share the motivating support I got from the officials. Shri. Girish Babu (CEO - Technopark) was kind enough to come over here and inaugurate the company. I remember his motivating words. He even set a future work plan too. Whenever I needed help, all the officials were of support. I owe greatly to each and every one of them. It was from the notes they wrote in official publications that I came to know that I was the youngest CEO in Infoparks.

Q: What all are your hobbies? A: Nothing that are listed under hobbies. My else time pleasure is learning and experimenting more and more on web based technologies. Q: How do you find time to these studies? What are your favourite books? A: I don’t have favourite books or favourite authors. I do this through interactions with my friends and knowledgeable persons in my circle. They elaborate on latest arrivals. I clarify it through web pages. That is how things go inwards in my case. Reading is not a habit for me. I do not generally read any newspaper. Q: Are you generous in spending? A: Basically, I’m not a passionate beauty conscious guy who struggles to keep up with the trends every morning. As a responsible CEO, I have the responsibility to honour my clients, guests and occasions in a fitting that best communicates the status of the company. It is applicable to everything we do. In all purchases, it is not money that I consider but quality. Money is to be spent. It should not remain stagnated, that is what I think. Spent wherever I need, without any botheration on the money on store is my policy. Money comes in only if we spend it. But luxury shows our inefficiency to handle money; it may result in reduced inflow. Q: What are your future dreams? A: I have a big dream, grow the company to such a profile at where it could feed all energetic and enthusiastic guys around. Q: Become a Microsoft? A: No, Webandcrafts only. I do not like to compare my company with any other establishments. The old much trodden paths may not yield enough honey. I insist on utilizing all opportunities, unconcerned on the size we are assuming. I do not believe in exploiting anything, even chances. I trust that I have my space here. Q: What is your idea about the future of web engineering? A: The present concepts are fast changing for sure. Internet penetration is changing surprisingly upwards. Changes cannot be restricted to possible humiliation of the present CDs and Pen Drives to cloud based approaches.

By 2015, it is estimated that the number of internet users are likely to

increase by three folds. Web engineering has a bright future. Q: Do you plan to enter into new areas of business? A: Our next proposal is to enter the world of Mobile applications Development. I plan to touch all major mobile platforms like ios, android, blackberry etc. My interest in future bifurcations will be restricted to technologies related to web and mobile engineering only. Q: How do you market your products? Any special strategies? A: There was a time when I seriously thought of creatively marketing our products through publicity Medias. Right now, as I have told before, all our works appear as referral. Today Webandcrafts is a branded company. As of now, no efforts on publicity are required for sustenance. Still, we will be using all possible chances for an exposure. Q: Your immediate plan?

A: My immediate plan is to find enough space for all the staff working here. My next plan is to find enough work for all those whom I appoint here. Q: What is the turnover expected this year? A: Turnover is a relative term, which need not perfectly reflect the exact dimension of growth. Neither the volume of work we do nor the quantity of money that flows through is the final growth factor of the company, according to me. Growth, as I envision it, is the quality of advanced applications and technologies we use and the quality of service we give. So there is no meaning in discussing over a figure. This year my plan is to raise a reserve fund of at least five percent of the turnover. Q: Do you have any teachers whom you think have influenced you? A: I did my schooling mostly in Malayalam Medium local Aided Schools. Truly, I have a long list of teachers, who have wished me a bright future. Some of them have given key support too. Special mention is required on my teachers in S A Engineering College, Cennai. My entire faculty was here during the inauguration of the company. They were not bothered about my arrears; they knew what I am. Q: What is the best quality you have found in you? A: I’m an ordinary individual, not a distinct being of a different make. I have my own bad points and good points. As a quality what I have observed is my grade of awareness. I know what is wrong and what is right with me. That’s it. Q: Is being aware a big quality? A: What doubt? Awareness keeps anyone always in the present. Present is the only reality. The moment future appears, it also become present. There is no meaning in living in the past……it is gone. Q: As you are aware, which is the prime quality in you? A: My uncompromising enthusiasm for solutions. I usually sleep only after getting a clarification for my doubts. Q: What is your most negative aspect of personality? A: Nervousness on obstructions. Q: Where do you like to improve? A: My communication skills in English. Presently, it is the HR department in the company that handles mails and correspondence. I am good only in Malayalam and Tamil. Q: Tell me about the most unforgettable incident in your life? A: There are many such incidents. This year it was manifestation of my long intended dream of procuring a Premium Sedan, without giving any load to my Papa. Q: What is your idea of a family life? A: It is good. But I don’t know how much a girl is going to accept my superficial concepts on family life. I’m an authoritarian as I know me. Anyway, I accept what it comes to me and am ready for changes. My wish is to have a girl who can understand me and is ready to compensate what I miss, especially in personality. As of now, I have no immediate plans. Let me be with Webandcrafts. Now is the time the company needs extreme care. Q: You plan to choose a girl for yourself or prefer an arranged marriage?

A: It all depends on the princess who appears. But I promise that money and dowry will not be a matter of concern. Q:. What would be your ‘one line message’ for the company that plans to set up its operations at Infopark-Thrissur? An:

“One should possess an honest mind to serve people with pure quality not hassling about the

profit and fame”. Trust me, this mantra is going to spin you wonders as it has done for me. Q: You say that these are the only things an entrepreneur needs to do? A: Yes they are. But it takes time to find out one’s potentials and live in trust of the Universe. Before we try it in business, we need to experience it in life. Begin trusting at small small things, start experiencing the result and slowly you will learn to live in that. Q: What I have understood from your sharing is that a competent mentor and a team of helpful friends also are required. A: Talking from my experience, I will say that all these are available to everybody, every time. The problem with us is that we decline to surrender before another. What we are used to is submission, which a coward does, and not surrender, which is characteristic of a hero. If your ego always insists on remaining at the same potential compared to another, be it a knowledgeable person, nothing flows down because the surface level according to you is the same. Whenever and wherever we bow our head, we are in the receiving side. Always mind to remain at least an inch lower by level. Don’t also be confined to the belief that the Universe extends it support only through the gateways you have programmed in you. Be open to all chances and all situations.$$
