Why invest Wheat does well at this region during rainy season. In addition the county has great potential of crop production with an area of 1,582,750 Ha being arable. Much of the area is underutilised due to erratic climatic conditions Given only 2 per cent of the population practice crop farming, the rest of the population relies on Livestock. Operational slaughterhouse would increase supply of hides and skins Livestock Keeping is the main economic activity in the county.
