1. The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of City Region Development Project (CRDP) ADB Loan no. 2695 BAN (SF). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract mentioned above. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries of the Asian Development Bank. 2. 3. National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single – Stage: One–Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.

The qualification criteria include the following:
Qualification Criteria
Contractual Experience: Successful completion as main supplier within the last three (03) years, of at least one (01) contract valued at BDT 535 Lac, with nature, and complexity similar to the scope of supply described in Section VI Schedule of Supply of the bid document. Provide documentary evidence.
Financial Qualifications
Financial Position: As a minimum, the Bidder’s net worth for the last year calculated as the difference between total assets and total liabilities should be positive.
Cash flow Capacity The cash flow requirement for the subject contract is BDT 239 Lac. The complete qualification criteria are described in the tender document.

Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened at 1:30 p.m. on 31 August 2015 in the presence of the bidder or their authorized representatives who choose to attend at the office of the Superintending Engineer, Gazipur City Corporation, Gazipur. Bid shall be valid for a period of 120 (One hundred and twenty) days after bid opening. 8. The Gazipur City Corporation, Gazipur will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids. 9. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be available at the LGED, CPTU and ADB Web Sites (www.lged.gov.bd, www.cptu.gov.bd and www.adb.org). 10.
