Invitation Women speak on water, sanitation and hygiene Sharing experiences in mainstreaming gender in WASH programs We at Oxfam encourage the participation of women in our WASH program. The goal of our gender approach is reducing gender inequities and empowering women. Women are normally users, managers and providers of water and sanitation services, and hygiene improvements in their families and communities, however their role is not recognized in communities, and women are rarely involved in any decision making process at local level, including WASH. By empowering women in the WASH sector, we aim at offering an opportunity to them to raise their voices, complaints and suggestions in informal and formal situations. We are interested in sharing our experience with women and men, with other organizations and with Government officers who share our same vision. We would like to invite you to join us. Bring your experience to share, so we can learn from each other to reduce gender inequities in WASH. Phnom Penh Hotel, Phnom Penh
