JGLR Writing Competition

This year Juris Gentium Law Review (JGLR) as one of Universitas Gadjah Mada’s leading law review shows its dedication in enhancing students’ skills in writing by commencing the first JGLR writing competition. Chosen by JGLR’s Editor in Chief, Aldio Primadi, I Anaq Pratama is the Project Officer of the writing competition. As a project officer, my passion in sharing knowledge is projected through the commencement of this writing competition. Hoping to find young writers that could contribute to the development of law in Indonesia, is the main focus of why this competition is commenced. JGLR Writing Competition 2016 is the first writing competition held by JGLR. As a journal that is fully run by the students, JGLR strives to boost the interest of students as well as enhancing students’ ability in legal writing. It is our expectation that by commencing this Writing Competition, JGLR would be able to contribute in the enrichment of knowledge and development of legal writing of students, especially among Indonesian universities. This Writing Competition is open to all students not limited to law students that have not graduated until November 2017. In addition, supporting the notion that JGLR is a law review, we limit the articles scope to only international law, business law, and comparative law.
